Do planets have equal defree of spacing between them with repect to houses. For instance, if sun is lagna then the next planet will be in the next house ? How come more than 1 planet is in 1 house ? How come rahu and ketu are always opposite ?

Since we can get the position of planets AS OF RIGHT NOW based on the time/place we are CURRENTLY standing RIGHT NOW, why is the placement of the planets in the birth chart important.
