Do planets have equal defree of spacing between them with repect to houses. For instance, if sun is lagna then the next planet will be in the next house ? How come more than 1 planet is in 1 house ? How come rahu and ketu are always opposite ?

Second question is about raashis, if for instance aries is in house 1, then is it always true that taurus (raashi after aries) will be in house 2 , etc ?

Dear Analyst
Astro charts are geocentric phenomenon i.e. the planets as seen from earth. Hence there may be many planets together in 1 sign (called conjunction) or they may be dispersed.
Rahu are Ketu are mathematical point only and they are always 180 deg apart.
If Aries is in 1H then Taurus will always be in 2H and so on.

You shd refer to any standard textbook viz.
