As matter of fact my own Shani Mahadasha started around 2010 and will continue till 2029.

I also had same initial apprehension before its start ,but after discussion with various learned members i developed more optimistic and humble outlook towards the same.

I can tell from my experience of having Rahu in seventh house Aries . It has lead to abroad travel for work on multiple occasions . But in longer term ,once satiated with desires of wealth one returns to homeland depending on the planets and strength of fourth house.
