I have seen several instances where people have good social circle yet there are lonely in their minds and empty to some extent when it comes to relationships. The extreme steps and scenarios for these situations are sometimes suicide or even self destruction to some extent .(Eg : Famous 27 club)
What leads to these situations ? What are the planets and specific conjunctions to be observed from the chart for interpreting the same ?

Ah! I was just about to ask a question on this as I have been feeling extremely lonely of late.I have always had such feelings on and off
My theory is a moon with no planets on either side of it(sun, Rahu,ketu not counted) .malefic aspect on the moon increases loneliness and benefic aspects reduces loneliness.also in my chart, moon is with ketu though with a good degree of separation.That increases loneliness I guess.
I also think 12th house plays a role. A strong 12th house with benefic planets makes one enjoy their own company even if they are lonely.
I think I will leave it to the experts to clarify.

Knowledge of Astrology: Mercury and Jupiter in Kendra.
Doesn't practice commercially: Venus out of reach from the above combination.
Prefer loneliness: Ketu, just ahead of Jupiter.

I think the planets which are most responsible for loneliness and aloofness are moon and ketu. A debilitated and severely afflicted mercury can also push an individual towards suicidal tendencies. Again, these are just my observations and my inclusion of mercury is because it's a planet that governs logical, rational and practical thinking.
