Jupiter[5L, 2L] is though vargottama but has no connection with 2H.It become importantant in this case because Jupiter is also the 2L. Jupiter is with Rahu aspected by Mars[6L][ Guru Chandal Yoga].

Pl do not mix Jaimini with Prashari astrology.

Since Jupiter has the lordship of both the house[5H,2H], the connection with 2H is a must.

You can only mix Jaimini onto Parashara (not the other way round) for those Jaimini principles that are described by Parasara in BPHS. Jaimini aspects is not one of them.

I have Mercury (2L & 11L) tightly conjunct with Jupiter (5L & 8L) & lightly conjunct my Lagna lord Sun in 2nd house in Virgo. Can you please shed light on this? Also is this a dhana yoga?

From Moon this happens in the 11th house but here also 2nd & 5th lord are conjunct. In bhava chart the Merc + Jup combo goes to 3rd house & becomes tighty conjunct with 4L & 9L Mars?

I might be falling into the List of Exceptions to this Yoga.
5L Ju (saggi) in 3rd House Libra with dispositor Venus in 2nd House which is combust+debi.

Had to pay a lot during my education (Especially higher secondary and Graduation) years.
Scholarship was a far fetched fantasy for me back then.

Pl read the Yoga again, I think it is not applicable in your chart. 5L{Jupiter] has no connection with 2H or 2L. Without your birth details its impossible to comment further.

what I was trying to pleasantly convey is the following-

for scorpio lagna 2nd and 5th lord are the same. This is itself a strong combination of the 2
There is no other placement of jupiter where jupiter aspects both houses as per 'Grah" drishti.

applying these rules verbatim and literally like most young astrologers do, scorpio can never get scholarship

If the lord of the 5H has a strong relation with the 2H or the 2L. The native gets scholarship or start earning during studies. I invite all the members of the forum to test this Yoga.

Since Jupiter has the lordship of 2H and 5H, it should have some strong relation with 2H in terms of aspect , position or exchange in case of Scorpio Lagna. e.g Jupiter in 6H,10H, 8H aspecting the 2H , or it should be seen by taking the Moon Lagna .

if one knows all the rules of many texts, congratulations. you are now like a book and know nothing about astrology.
Astrology in a 'Phalit" way comes from practice and practice

reality is a hollistic analysis of a horoscope is usually needed and just looking a combination and applying some crammed up rules is not enough

Yes Yoga is applicable, 5L[Jupiter] in 2H along with 2L[Mercury].

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Sun[2L] and Jupiter[6L, 9L] are under Nk exchange . So Sun is indirectly aspecting the 5H.

In my Navamsa, Lord of the 5th which is Jupiter, makes an opposition aspect to my Moon in the 2nd. Lord of the 2nd which is Mercury, also gets a square aspect from Jupiter.

I got a Teaching Scholarship (Jupiter, Moon and Mercury involved - to teach General Paper (which is English our mother tongue - Jupiter; and Moon for a subject dealing with general knowledge) and Mathematics (Mercury). Moon a ruler of the 12th, the house of unlearning, shows General Paper is a subject where you have to read widely and no fixed rules.

But my father turned it down for me. Mars ruler of the 9th and 4th sits on the 4th - very strong in its own sign Scorpio with Rahu conjuncting it emphasising Mars in Scorpio. Mars is not a teacher and Scorpio is a silent sign and also a natural ruler of the 8th which is 12th to 9th. So no teaching in colleges. But 8th is also 6th to the 3rd. I did teach in IT schools in a private firm. Mars is karaka of the 3rd.

The 4th house in a chart if very strong, sometimes has a say in certain matters, notwithstanding of certain Yoga configurations in other areas of the chart.
