Hello Gurus

I'VE Heard that Rahu's aspect on Sun , destroys the sun as well
as the house which Rahu occupies.

I have in my chart, rahu in 3rd house and Sun in 7th House, and according
to me , Rahu's aspects are on 5th & 9th houses.

Can you'll please explain.

Cheers, Dev

Hi,

I am not a learned astrologer so please forgive any mistakes, but this is something I had read somewhere which gives a good explanation about Rahu 5th, 9th and 12th aspect and reason after it.

"
As for the aspects of Rahu and Ketu, they are the head and the body of the demon Rahu respectively. Rahu wanted to take the position of the demigods and drink the nectar of immortality, but Vishu in the form of Mohini Murti severed his head from his body. Therefore Rahu has the similar aspects to Jupiter, the Guru of demigids, as he has the desire to spoil what Jupiter gives. So the aspect of Jupiter on the 5th and 9th house indicates poorva-punya while the aspect of Rahu on the same indicates poorva-papa, or sinful activities in previous birth. Rahu also has an aspect on the 2nd house from his position, which is actually the 12th, as Rahu is retrograde. The 12th house indicates the dharma inherited from our gotra, or dynasty, which Rahu did not want to follow. He was born in dynasty of Asuras(demons), but he wanted to be in positions of Suras(demigods). Ketu, on the other hand, being the severed body of Rahu does not have a head and eyes, hence he cannot glance. Hw will not be able to cast any Graha Drshti, only Rasi Drishti. Ofcourse, there would be malefic influence on the 3rd, 6th and 11th houses from Ketu, but this is actually caused by Rahu, which is always opposite Ketu.

Is it not true that whereever these demons are placed in one's moon chart determines what the person will abandon in order to pursue?

Examples: Ketu in the 4th & Rahu in the 10th in one's Chandra Lagna chart indicates the person will abandon family for Career. (abandon can mean either spending long hours each day away from family or complete abandonment)

Rahu in the 7th from chandra lagna indicates much energy put into a significant other and not paying much mind to oneself.

Isn't this the case?

Hello basab,

My period of rahu-rahu has been like nothing u mentioned. Infact it was one of the best times for me :-|

Hello Moksha,

Thanks for your feedback. Great to know that your Rahu-Rahu period was good. I wrote this post long back. I have seen many charts after that, and I feel that if Rahu is well placed in a chart, its period can do a lot of good, even give good education.

Respected Sir, Madam,

How powerful would fourth house Rahu be in a chart with Mars lagna in Leo? What impact might this have on the family?

Date of birth - 20 May, 2012, time 2:50 pm,
if you focus on the dispositor of Rahu/Ketu and the aspects to them. ...

Remember that they are impressionable planets and will take on the qualities of the planets that they are conjunct, aspected by, and disposited by. Vaughn Paul
Would it be possible for you to give one example of how you'd interpret R/K dispositors.. say Aries Rahu in 6th house.. so the dispositors become Mars (for Rahu) and Venus (for Ketu).
