In his chart
1. lagna(Kanya) lord - mercury exchanged with 2nd house - venus(Debilated)
2. 9th and 10th lord exchanged
3.11th lord in the 2nd house is good for wealth giving.
4.his 10th lord mercury is vargothama but still not able to get the career started.
5.mars the lord of 8th house and is in 12th house vimal yoga. where he lost the job during jupiter dasha and mars bukthi and still not able to figure out the job having good talent but problem with his speech as he stammers.
6.satrun the lord of 5th and 6th in 3rd house, and mars and satrun having mutual dristhi is also good.

the obstruction in ur friends career is coming from jupiter who is placed in the 8th house of obstruction...planets in the 8th give challenges and make life tough and that is exactly what Jupiter is doing and he is running this jupiter MD until 2013 and so his career will face challenges until 2013 ...10th lord and Asc lord mercury is placed in the 2nd house of wealth and is strong ..thus in the long run his career is good...things will turn around under Saturn MD (L5/L6) from 2013..Saturn is in the 3rd house of efforts and in own sign in d-9 and MT sign in d-10..Mercury MD follows in 2032 for 17 yrs..so ur friend can look forward to a very good career btwn 2013- 2049..!!!

I have one more doubt
1 Jupiter is a natural benefic planet and it is the lord of 4th house and 7th house due to kendradipathi dosha a natural benific will turn into malefic and it is in the malefic house(8Th house) retrograde. this means that a malefic planet at malefic house should do good right sir? and it is also retrograde meaning that it should give opposite results ie., good
2. it is also having a dristhi from moon which will form as gaja kesari yoga also and also a dristhi from mercury also which should have been good for him.
but the period of jupiter was full of hardship, troubled by people around,no achivements and luck for the efforts he put for it just simply went on drains.

IMO,any planet -benefic or malefic in the dusthanas tend to give obstructions and misery in their own way..so time until 2013 could be tough ..career will rise once Saturn starts exerting its influence...Venus is Deb but there is also an exchange btwn asc lord mercury and 9th lord venus so they could act as if they are in their own house after intial struggleh_punith wrote:Thank you nits and astro123 for your precious time to reply for this post
