DEAR ADVAITH
The dasha is of Venus, who though a yogakaraka for ur lagna is placed in the 12th. The AD is of Rahu placed in the 5th. The 5th is the mind and Rahu is illusion. U can understand the reason for ur detachment as ur dasha lord in the 12th. Its going to be a sticky wicket for sometime. Hang on! Things will improve. From mid 2013, u r going to have JU dasha which will be much better. Things will improve marginally once JU enters Aries.

You have no right to end your own life. If u read the posts here, so many people of suffering in several ways and that is the reason the forum is very much alive. There are so many astrologers here giving good advices and pariharas. Even if one ends his life, he cannot escape from the suffering that is in store for him since the atma is the same. He will come with another body and will have to undergo the suffering again. In fact, added to that, if u try that, u are causing immense sorrow to your family. They will feel guilty till death. So that is additional sin which will also be carried over to next janma.
So best is to learn yoga, music-violin, keyboard etc or listen to concerts or film songs that u like.
Good time will come and also chant slokas regularly.

Loosing interest and detachment are the areas of the 12th house. You are running venus dasa and rahu sub period. What do you think is frustration. That is also an illusion adhvait. Let us say that you are caught in a forest and lost your way. Any amount of frustration or tears will not make the trees give way to you. You have to take an axe and cut them and pave a way for yourself. Do that with a song. All will fall in place.
