Dear Astrosonu:
That was indeed touching. Sat moon in 5th creates life long impression, u said, but can u not remove it? There must be some remedy, astrological or yoga or whatever.
Nice to know u have knowledge of Palmistry too.
You correlated well the palmistry aspects with astrology.
A person with exalted 3rd Lord Mars would’nt bend but I think a person having exalted mars in 3rd house would also not bend and that is me.
Everything in life is a postmortem, we learn only after committing errors, isn't it. Sometimes it is not in our control and happens as though it is predestined, since we ourselves may feel how we got into it sometimes. It is not explainable most times.

Dear Sonu:
Sat + Moon combo is a boon in 5th house i.e. my upasana sthana. Mercury being the 5th Lord, I am a Shri Vishnu Follower. Sat ensures a disciplined, moralistic and traditionally correct approach in my life as it is my lagna lord in a trine. Sat helped in depriving me of an intercaste marriage, thereby saving me from taking a few hundred births less to work on my Sadhana towards Shri Vishnu, which is the ultimate goal of every soul.
Lagna lord in a trine is wonderful. Do u mean to say intercaste married couples will have to have extra births to wash away their sins? But then if both parties agree?
Sonu, my 5th lord is jupiter but I pray to Vishnu. My atmakaraka is budha but 12th from atmakaraka is again guru with ketu.
My palmistry was at peak during Jup-Sat with flawless interpretations. Jupiter provided with with the Vedic knowledge being in own house in Pisces, but it was Saturn who kept a check on me not moving towards avedic literatures and accepting those at the whims and fancies of the mind. This is supported by an unafflicted Mercury the 5th Lord.
It kept the liberality of Jupiter in check by aspecting it via 10th aspect. This is one of the reasons, I don't fall for hypothetical texts written in kaliyuga as my baselined approach towards spirituality. Vedic Guidelines and Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta are the safest bet. (Sat stands for tradition).
Exchange of 1st and 5th Lords with the involvement of moon has ensured all round spiritual prosperity with the best Guru guidance in times as tough as kaliyuga. This exchange happens from moon as 5,9 exchange. In a nutshell, without Saturn I am nothing. Moon, Jupiter, Sun etc none could have given me spirituality as correct as Saturn has given me. Association of waxing moon has kept malefic tendencies in check. They are 10 degrees apart.
Your palmistry and astrology skills seem to be excellent.
I knew sat is traditional but did not know it could bring in so much discipline. Oh , 5,9 exchange is great. U are blessed to have found a nice guru.
Especially in Kaliyuga, if you wish to tend towards spirituality look for a strong saturn in Rasi, Navamsa and D-20. Saturn alone can take you towards vairagya. More it influences moon the better it is for spirituality. However, materialistic desires may not get fulfilled as Sat does not like luxuries.
Materialistic desires are not good to have but getting rid of them is so difficult. Anyway I am trying to atleast to some extent. I really admire ur taste for God when most people think of materialistic things not knowing they are not permanent.
Excellent writing Sonu on palmistry and astrology. If we meet, I am going to show u my palm first
.
Yes I agree Vishnu Sahasranama is a potent mantra for kaliyuga and many astrologers told me to chant everyday even when at college. However I was not regular then but atleast want to make it regular now. I am trying.

Oh, that is so complex. Anyway I respect all Devatas and God, I will first recite Vishnu Sahasranamam and then try others. I am chanting Vishnu Sahasranamam and Hayagriva as suggested by u.
Also tripurasundari astakam suggested by Ramanan,
Oh that is interesting. U seem to be clear in your ideas. I never knew if it was that big a sin but I knew it was a sin because lot of people from both sides would be displeased with intercaste marriages.
Did u get ur deeksha from Raghavendra temple Mantralayam or are u busy attending interviews?
Good luck to u.

Dear Sonu:
But then u are already taking satvik food, is it not? U dont take nonveg? Do u have to avoid onion, garlic etc? What other conditions are there?
I see u to be satvik already, u seem to have no distraction and dont write about other topics other than astrology or spirituality, In kaliyuga is that not sufficient? Also u pray to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi and even there there is no distraction. I mean some pray to many Gods with the confidence that atleast one or some of them will help. They are not confident that if they chose one God, if he fails to help, then they will be in soup. So confidence level should be like Draupati had towards end (at the time of Vastrabharanam). I doubt if anyone of us have that, atleast I dont have that. A long way to go.
Is not having yagnopaveet worse than having at 35? Just want to know ur views. I know age of 8-10 is the best time but does not happen to all. Many have it on the day of the marriage. That is bad I know.
I may visit Mantralayam some time I havent decided. I havent been there before.

I go to all temples. We have only temple of Navagrahas, Lord Siva, Lord Ganapati and Lord Hanuman very close, so I go there. Krishna temple and Vishnu temples are around 2 kms away. But when in difficulty, the Lord who comes to me is Lord Rama with Goddess Seetha and Hanuman. It is because of his great qualities like ekapatnivrata and so on which are stressed. Other Gods would also have that but in his case it is stressed.
When Saint Tyagaraja is singing, Lord Rama and his 3 brothers, Seetha are standing before him and Hanuman bowing to them, this picture we have at home and since I am also a singer of Tyagaraja who is Rambhakt I have great liking of Lord Ram. He is so beautiful, So are Krishna, Narasimha, Shiva, Muruga & Iyyappa.
Yes chitta suddhi is most important and almost impossible to achieve, atleast for me. Other suddhis are very easy atleast for me since I can manage with any food and even with fruits for say one year if I want to.

Here is an interesting anecdote about a palmist. This is about Pappaji(An advaita guru) and his son Surendra.
"Surendra had just left college and was helping his father out with his mining business in northern Karnataka. Papaji took him to see a palm-reader and deliberately gave him misinformation to see how good he really was.
He said, 'I found this boy wandering around. He is an orphan. I think I can get him a job in one of the local hotels. What do you think? Is it a good idea?'
The man looked at Surendra's palm and said, 'This boy's father is not dead. He is a jivanmukta, and he is quite close to where we are now. The father will die when this boy is in his ...... year.'
Papaji told me that the palm reader was not a jivanmukta himself, so he could not have spotted Papaji on that account. Papaji and Surendra never revealed what the correct number was at the end of the prediction. I asked Surendra once, while Papaji was still alive, whether the date was still in the future, and he said 'Yes,' but wouldn't tell me when it was.
When Surendra asked Papaji whether he could go to Germany in August 1997, Papaji looked at him with some surprise and said, 'Don't you know that year it is?' The reference was to the prediction.
Surendra replied that he was aware of the significance of the date and promised to be back in time. Unfortunately, he had miscalculated the date and thought he had more time to return. Papaji passed away while he was in Germany. Surendra flew home immediately on hearing the news and arrived just in time for the funeral.
After the funeral I asked Surendra if the palm-reader's prediction had been correct, and he admitted it had been. He said that it had been his own fault for not doing the arithmetic properly.
He also told me - and I was not aware of this before - that he thought that Papaji somehow knew that this man was a great psychic.
He told me, 'I was dabbling with palmistry myself at the time. I think my father wanted to take me to a real psychic palmist just to show how good a real one could be. I think his idea was to put me off studying palm-reading, and it worked. I knew I could never be as good as this man, so I lost interest."

Hi Astrosonu,
A very enlightening post.
Although I wonder whether one could make things better for bad karmas. You gave an example of the lady who could have potentially lost her baby because of the placements of planets in her horoscope. However, by reciting Vishnu Sahs. as recommended by you, she was able to mitigate her bad karma and revive the life of her unborn child. In a way, you are insinuating that despite the bad placement of planets, we have the power to make it better albeit with the help of mantras.
As much as I would like to accept this reasoning, I am at loss of limited freewill concept here. Trust me, I don't intend to digress from this topic here.
My questioning stems from the fact that why does not everybody with the suffering they have, is not able to get the better of him/her with the regular prayers and mantra recitations. Is it related to impiety in one's character or lack of complete faith in the almighty?
BTW, I also have AQU lagna like you and Sat in 5th house; so I certainly like traditions. But unlike your RAHU dasha (my rahu is also in 10th house in SCO) with the dispositor in 8th house, my rahu dasha which has started only a couple of yrs back, is truly showing its colors and not sure what else is in store for me for my remaining dasha.
So, taking from your experience, let me ask you: What mantras you could recommend me and I can vouch to come back and confirm the results if things do get better.
With warm regards//

Dear Sonu:
How is it that Anjaneya/ Hanumanji became Krishna, if he had become Rama that would be understandable
?
That was interesting incidents from your life incidents. But may be it depends on how much karmic balance one has.
Satvik remedies will test you for your piousness before giving unmixed happiness. Instant MATERIAL results are not gauranteed, but peace of mind is for sure.
It is this sentence that is quite puzzling. How long will it test and how much long one has to wait. Definitely peace of mind is infinite times more valuable than material results and even crores of money. I am sure all people writing in this thread would accept that. Only, a person who is almost without problems, will value money more since he has not had hardships and is enjoying life thinking he is never going to have problems and can get everything with that money including peace of mind if necessary.

I meant u had picture of Hanumanji which was replaced by Krishna while Rama would have been a better choice since Hanumanji is so fond of Rama.
Till the soul starts treading the path advised by Shastras, leaving tamo gunas aside.
That is a good answer but then how to get rid of tamo gunas completely or near to complete?
Yes ur writings are nice. You said u had a job and u were in England sometime back, right?
