Hi
Here are some points which I would be putting on this forum for rectifying the birth time using the PP lagna as the basis:
We are all that Prana is required for the human beings to live.We need to understand how Prana works. When a soul takes birth his pranas are controlled by the umbical cord of the mother. As along as the baby is attached to her, the Prana of the baby is controlled by the mother. The moment doctors cut the umbella cord you hear the baby crying because at this point of time there is Prana supporting from outside(ie the mother) but the baby has to independently sustain itself. This is her the concept of Prana comes to effect.
Prana is nothing but Sookshma sharira and it is divided into 5 different parts and its operates in 5 different chakras in our body:
1)Udanna
2)Prana
3)Samana
4)Vyana
4)Apana
The 5 different chakras in our bodies are as follows:
1)Vishuddhi
2)Anhata
3)Manipura
4)Swadisthana
5)Mooladhara
Each of these are controlled by different tattwas:
Vishnudhi is controlled by Akasha tattwa
Anhanta is controlled by Vayu Tattwa
Manipura is controlled by Agni Tattwa
Swadisthana is controlled by Jala tattwa
Mooladhara is controlled by Prithiv tattwa.
There is a mantra in order to activate all these chakras. The mantra is as follows:
MOOLADARISHTAM DEVIM KUNDALIM PRADEVATAM
BISANTANTUNIBHAM VIDYUTPRABHAM
DHYAYET SAMAHITAHA.
These 5 takes care of all the bodily functions which we experience in our lifes.
For rectifying the birth time we need to take a look at 2 different vargas.
One is d-60 varga chart and the other one is d-24 varga chart.
In the D-60 varga chart Prana Pada should be in trines/7th to Moon or Sun
and
In the D-24 chart Pranapada should be trines/7th to Mercury or Venus. In these two chart the most authentic way of rectifying the chart is to use D-60 as the lagna changes in 105 seconds and it also requires deeper consideration.
Hope all of them would be benefited by using this technique in rectifying the birth chart

Uma Ji...
Actually we were discussing this in my Brihat Jataka class and our teacher told us that the Birthtime of the baby crying is the correct time and not the time the child is born.
But she did not explain the Prana theory..
Thanks so much..
So as I understand, the correct birth time is exactly the moment the baby cries.
However Uma Ji,
I did not understand what Sookshma sharira means?
And also why did you include the mantras for the 5 chakras and why did you mention the chakras? do they help in Birth time rectification?
Also, as you might have seen from article http://www.lightonvedicastrology.com/ph ... =22&t=8593
Im trying to rectify my time, and im having my weird troubles..
Also, I checked the Vargas you recommended
D-24 and D-60
From P.V.R. Narasimha Rao Ji book i got to know that
D-24 = Chaturvimsamsa D-24 Learning, knowledge and education
D-60= Shashtyamsa D-60 Karma of past life, all matters
But i did not understand what you meant by "In the D-60 varga chart Prana Pada should be in trines/7th to Moon or Sun"...
And using D-24 , the lagna doesnt change quickly ...
Its making me more confused :S

Hi
The reason why I have given the mantra is for the people to learn and recite the mantras. Chakras are very important and even a slight change in them would ruin our health and sustanance. Reciting this mantra everyday would help the native take the right decision at the right time. I have been told that rectiting this mantra would make the person go towards the right direction as the first chakra which gets activated is Mooladhara and it is connected to legs. I believe that the legs get purified with the recitation.
Now coming to d-60 who is responsible for our birth if we speak logically. It is our Mother and our father. Moon is Mother and blood and father is Sun and Venus. Because without these two no soul comes to earth.
When we say trines and also 7th we know that trines is sustanance(vishnu sthana) and 7th is the door to the outside world. From here the soul comes and from here only the soul goes away. So it is very important for the 7th also to be considered.
What is Sookshama. That which we cannot see. What is that we cannot see?? It is our Soul. It is so minute that if we take a spark plug and try to kick start the bike we find that there is a spark which gets generated which we can see. But soul is even more minute to the extent it would be somewhere in the range of 1/10,000 when compared to spark in the plug. So it is Sookshma.
D-60 is very sensitive to the time corrections hence very authentic. Why does the soul take birth. This is basically to attain siddhis. From where we find these siddhis in the varga chart?? Obvisouly it is D-24. hence it is important.
And when we say sidhi we take Moon into account because it is connected mind or the state of subconciousness.
Hope I am clear. I am learner cannot expand more than this. Sorry???
regards

For the mantra, does pronunciation matter in order for it to work? and is this mantra for all chakras? Should be recited at specific times or directions or in a specific yoga position?aliens19672004 wrote:

Dear Aliens,
Can you please explain the following:
"In the D-60 varga chart Prana Pada should be in trines/7th to Moon or Sun"
Did you mean that Prana Pada should be in trines AND it should be 7th to Mo or Su
or did you mean That Prana Pada should be in trines OR it should be 7th to Mo or Su?

I believe this means that it should be in trines or the opposite sign from the moon or sun. So for example, if moon was in scorpio, the PP should be either in cancer, scorpio, pisces or taurus (which is 7th sign from scorpio - i.e. opposite). The only thing I have not understood from this method is if Uma ji is referring to the Moon and Sun in rashi chart or in the D-60 itself.
