2 charts show 2 diff lagnas, PLZ verify and correct

My dad has his chart prepared couple of times and these two have different ascendants one with Kanya as Ascendant and the other is Libra as ascendant. He has presently entered Mars Mahadasha and is on leave for his job(as he is posted in a far off place) and my mother had a major spine surgery and by the grace of GOD, she is on the path of recovery.

1) Please verify which is the correct lagna.
2) Is there any chance for his transfer to local place?
3) How is his career for the next 5 years?
4)Can he start a business of his own in next 4-5 years?

My grandmother passed away in May 9th 1990

My mother's DOB Jan 24 1954 POB: Vizianagaram India TOB:8:15 AM

In 1990 he left a well paid job and entered into business and lost all the money and relations were strained with in-laws as business was done in partnership , again he worked for few years and loaned some money to brother in law and lost all that money. Had to give a lot of money to others where he had to give but could never recover from place where people owed to him/us.

Thanks Shrikanth, I also used JHora and it shows the same value. The chart which my dad has shows libra as ascendant. The financial problems started right after 1990 and in between he worked but always lost money. He bought 2 homes but sold all of them. Based on other events like marriage and birth of myself and brother and death of his parents, what could be the right lagna.

Change the lagna to Libra and see the changes. It has talleyed with all the major events of your father.

During the time your father has losses and entered into business the dasa pravesha chakara of Taurus started which is from 1998-2001. Here the lagna for Dasa Pravesha is Libra itself and the 11th lord Sun is debilitated in the house of libra. The 7th house from Libra lagna (Dasa pravesha) is lorded by Saturn(retro) and again debilitated there. Business would be a loss during this period.

The 10th house lord is Moon and again debilitated in Scorpio which is 2nd from Dasa Pravesha lagna which is Tula.

He was having the saturn as his Hora lord during the period 1998-2001 and Saturn is the karaka for the work and being neecha in Aries has removed his job and made him go to business and also had losses there. If you see the 7th house lord Mars is with Rahu who is the lord of the 5th house being placed in the 11th house the house of gains. Rahu causes Kuja sthambana to Mars. His A7 is in Dhanus and who lord is Jupiter retrograde. Hence even the partners would not follow the dharma and he has been backstabed

His Dara Karaka is Sun and during the dasa pravesha of Cancer which is from October 2005 the Sun is placed in 4th house neecha with Jupiter and Mercury.

Thanks for your rectification. Will the present mars mahadasha (which just started) help him? Will he continue in his present job or do you foresee a change in the job.
