Guru and Shani

Dear astrologers:

Guru's aspect on 5,7,9 is suppose to benefit those houses and it is said, guru where placed does not strengthen the house. On the other hand, it is said, saturn does good to the house he is in and weakens the houses he aspects , the 3rd, 7th and 10th by drishti.

Now, saturn is good in dustana and upachaya houses is well known.

Combining the above two:

Saturn when in dustana upachaya house aspects as follows:

6th house - aspects 8th, 12th and 3rd

8th house - aspects 10th, 2nd and 5th

11th house - aspects Lagna, 4th and 8th

12th house - aspects 2nd, 5th and 9th


Now there is a conflict. Will Sani's aspect on 2nd, 5th, 9th and 10th do good or bad is an interesting question to ponder over.
