A) Between Mercury and Jupiter(D1 Chart) : Mercury(Combust and Retrograte so combustion gets cancelled) in 4th house ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter( Retrograte) in 10th house ruled by Mercury . Presently I am under Rahu mahadasha and Mercury antardasha(Started from 26 May 2010). I beleive this is a very good "Parivartana Yog" and would have major influence and impact on my life from now till the end of Jupiter mahadasha(From 2020 - 2036).
4th and 10th parivartan is not a Rajyog but it is definitely good and may give the following results :

* You may me very much involved in your family and might pay lot of attention to your home
* You will build properties with your own karma (hard earned money) / you will be architect or civil engineer
* Kendra are Vishnu sthana : This yog will make you a karmyogi and you will word very hard for your family
B) Between Moon and Mars(D1 Chart) : Mars in 11th house ruled by Moon and Moon in the 8th house ruled by Mars. Mars is debliated and I beleive this is not a good "Parivartana Yog".
11th and 8th parivartan is not bad either although it is not a Rajyog. It can give you worries related to elder sibling / his health etc . It can also give you an inheritance from elder sibling.

Forgot to add that any association of Mars and Moon is also a "Chandra Mangal Yog" and such a native may get wealth suddenly from somewhere

Vpn,

Exchange of 4th and 9th for taurus lagna is wonderful mahayog as it is exchange of sun and saturn thereby combining, karma, dharma and properties / home. You will build your own properties and will have such permanent assets as your age advances. Let me elaborate this ... It is believed that saturn in 4th is better than that in 10th for material gains. It is believed that when a person with Saturn in 10th buys a property in his own name, he starts losing money (money starts flowing out). While saturn in 4th aspects 10th house thereby stabilising career, maing it permanent. Here it is also lord of 10th so 10th house is fully protected. Also, this could give you a religious mother. There could be hard work and disturnbance at home but saturn in 4th will help u manage your home well with hard work. You will be concerned with your household and family and will work hard to maintain this front.

Saturn in 4th aspects 6th house thereby securing your career further (6th house is house of competition and service).

Sun in 9th might not give you much support of father though father will be a nice person, honest, sincere and hard working. This position will also give very cordial relations between your mother and father. Your mother will always be a very good support for your father....

Shashi,

I'd like to mention that my mum and dad have not had a very cordial relationship, to be very honest to you. And one more thing, my mum ain't at all religious, many have told me so and i've always refuted their claims. However, could be that she could turn out to be spiritual in her later years.

Further, what's your connotation regarding my vipareet raj yog? Venus placement in the eighth in the house of jupiter.

Thanks and regards

As far as supporting my dad goes, yeah, she's always helped dad build the business too, so in that case, you're totally spot on!

how would you see my finances in the future?

Vpn.

Hi Astro 123:

I have in navamsa 6-8 exchange between mars and saturn and in dasamsa 6-8 exchange between venus and jupiter. It is called Viparita raja yoga but when the yoga operates is not clear. May be even when the other dasas operate when they are connected with these planets by dristi, conjunction or being in their nakshatra and so on. Anyway in what way they would bring raja yoga is not clear at all. Whether it would be with profession, money, marriage or whatever.

Hi Dev

thanks for the info..i guess VRY shud work when the dasa of the planet involved operates either its Ad or MD...like in ur case when Mars or Saturn AD or MD runs or both planets run their periods together it should work i guess...I Have jupiter involved in VRY as 12th lord in 8th and presently have Jupiter Bhukti running since october but have not seen any effect of the yoga just yet..Now, Is exchange of evil houses good or bad...I mean it is better to have a mutual exchange of dusthana houses rather than exchange of 1 dusthana house with say a trinal or a quadrant house coz trine/quadrant house will be destroyed

thanks

Right !! Exchange of a gud and bad house is called "Dainya parivartan" as it brings misfortune ... It can also be harmful for the native's family ...

Hey,

I don't know if this thread is still on- I am Taurua Lagna, exchange of 4th & 5th L. I could not make out anything great happening in 5L dasha but it was definitely better than my current Ketu Dasha. It dealt with 5th house matters. There was nothing significant in my 5L-4L dasha.

Also, I have exchange of 6L & 8L in my Navamsha chart. I am running AD of 8L (Rashi chart), Jupiter right now.

Regarding sun, saturn association- I think it is not considered good- As sun raises, Saturn brings downfall.

Thanks!

Hi Hina:

Also, I have exchange of 6L & 8L in my Navamsha chart. I am running AD of 8L (Rashi chart), Jupiter right now.

Can u clarify, Which are the two planets which are exchanging 6-8 houses in navamsa? Aslo which are their houses in their rasi chart? Are u running their dasas now or did u have it before? Did u find any vipareeta raja yoga in their period or in other periods?

In dasha of any planet, the matters pertaining to the house it lords become prominent. Like in the Dasha of 5th house lord, you would be studying (education is 5th house effect) or looking after kids (kids are 5th house effects). In addition to it, the placement relationship between the dasha and antardasha lords will also influence greatly. e.g. if the dasha and antardasha lords are in 6-8 placement from each other, the native experiences court cases / health issues etc ...

Hello Dev,

There was exchange of Sat(8L) & Jup(6L) in Navamsha chart. Navamsha Lagna is in Cancer. Ketu is in 12th House in navamsha chart. Currently, I am running 8L (Rashi) and 6L (Navamsha) Jupiter's AD & Ketu Dasha. I tip-toe around life- I feel as if I Guru dev or friends can strike any minute.

Rahu D/AD preceeds Jupiter's periods. During Rahu AD's, I have suffered intensely. So, you can say that Jupiter periods are better. I don't know if I want to call them VRY. However, during Me(5L)/rahu(10L)/Sat(10L), my life completely changed. You could say I went through NBRY- it was extremely brief though.

It wasn't the case though in my Ketu/Sat or Ketu/Rahu periods. The whole period has been one endless misery.

How has the same period been for you?

Hello Hina,

There was exchange of Sat(6L) & Mars(6L) in Navamsha chart for me. Navamsha Lagna is in Kanya. Ketu and Guru are in 12th House in navamsha chart.
Currently, I am running moon-mercury dasa but moon is 9th and mercury the 8th and 11th in rasi, however in amsa, mercury is 1st and 10th and moon the 11th.
However, I have been highly tensed in the moon-saturn period which was very bad and now moon-mercury which has also been not good but somewhat better.
However, I do have VRY as stated in the chart in Jhora. I have only had buktis of the 6-8 lords of navasma ie sat and mars. Then I have jupiter venus excahnge in dasamsa as 6-8 lords.
Anyway, of these, I have only experienced the venus dasa, not mars, saturn or jupiter.
So I was asking a general question about VRY as to when it fructifies and so on.

Anyway about buktis,

I would say, venus guru period was best for me, which gave me Job, PhD admission and PhD degree and many more things in our family and also a good name at work and at home in the nearby circles as a good teacher of music too.
Mars bukti has always been good, sat has been good but also bad in some other way. Venus has always been average without any problems and nothing special too.
However, while venus - sat was good, moon-sat was the worst till now.
Anyway mine is a complex horoscope with 7 planets in a house and so I was just asking in general so that it can atleast be easily verified in other charts.

If you can say that Jupiter periods are better.u may as well call them VRY since otherwise u should have suffered. You say about NBRY & say it was extremely brief but did u have the neecha effects first and then the raja yoga and did it fructify in neecha planet's dasa or in the one which caused bhanga. How long was it and what sudden rise u had?
Can u please provide ur data also?

Hey all,

I have a parivartana between 11L Mangal which is in 12th and 12L Jupiter in 11th for a Makara lagna. Going through my Jupiter AD, it has been a very beneficial period so far, I haven't experienced any losses or major expenditures. Well Jupiter is conjoined with Sun, Venus and Mercury.

Also, I have come accross a chart with Mangal and Venus in Kumbh in 3rd and Saturn and Moon in 11th in Libra for a Dhanu lagna, how do you interprete this? I have read that it means gains from brothers, but the native only has two younger sisters, so one wonders...

Thanks,

If there are no brothers, it could also mean gains from older men who have been like an elder brother in your life.

Dear Shashiji,

Don't you mean gains from younger men?

Thanks

No ... 11th house is for "elder men" and to see gains from younger men, 3rd house and Mercury are to be considered. While for elder men, 11th house and Jupiter

Dear Sir,

That's what I mean. Echange between L3 and L11 would mean gains through younger sibblings. 11thnmeaning gains, and 3rd younger brothers. Correct me if I am wrong please.

Thanks
