No,rahu is not always melefic and you have rahu in the sign of mercury,his friend,you will experience gains and kingly pleasures during the dasa,you may keep solid tablet shaped silver in the pocket to ward off evil effects during dasa and keep away from taking any cheap articles from thieves.
