Hello
I went to an astrologer with my birth chart for a marriage prediction. He told me that there are very low chances for progeny in my chart. I was very distressed, so I did my own analysis based on the knowledge I found on the internet and this forum. But i could't figure out much.
My Birth Details:
Gender: Male
Birthdate: January 5, 1997
Birth time: 3:35 AM
Place: Lucerne, Switzerland
My Analysis:
D1 Chart:
My Ascendant Lord Venus is in the 2nd house, Scorpio sign in the D1 chart. My 5th house Lord Saturn is in the 6th house with a tight conjunction with Ketu in the Pisces sign. The sign lord of Pisces is in the 4th house, Capricorn (debilitated).
D7 Chart:
In the D7 Ascendant sign Pisces, a debilitated Mercury is situated. Ascendant Lord Jupiter is in the 5th house, Cancer (exalted). 5th house lord Moon in situated in 2nd house with Sun and mars in Aries Sign.
KP Analysis:
According to KP Analysis, the sub-lord of my 5th house lord Saturn is Ketu. Ketu, as already known, is tightly conjunct with Saturn in the same sign in D1. However, Ketu's sub-lord is Venus, and Venus is the 2nd house lord in Scorpio / Jyeshta Pada 4 in D1.
Can you tell me how my chances are for having children? Will I be able to have children? If yes, how high are the prospects for a daughter and for a son? Which Dasha will be good for childbirth?
Of course, I am not an expert, so please also verify my analysis.
Thank you very much in advance!

Suva,
I cannot get into technical aspects due to time constraints.
The Libra rising chart could face difficulties, delay in having children.
Predicting gender is difficult and for timing both charts are read in conjunction.
Good luck.

If you have the right knowledge, EXACT predictions can be made. Astrology is an incredible tool for guidance, and one should take note of the energies of changing dasha lords.

The 5th lord with Ketu does not necessarily deny progeny but may give an unconventional twist, such as through surrogacy or IVF.
Children, especially the first child, may be born naturally but could appear racially different due to interracial marriages. However, a detailed conclusion can only be reached with an analysis of your partner's chart, which still requires a thorough study.
Was there a break in your education, specifically while pursuing your bachelors?

It has to be the female, if progeny is to be analyzed, as she is the one who conceives.
Hi,
1. Ascendent or Udaya is placed in the Zodiac sign of Libra or Thula/Tula Rashi, ruled by Venus/Shukra and posited in the Lunar Constellation of of Vishaka Nakshatra, ruled by Jupiter/Guru-dev.
2. Lagna Lord Venus/Shukra being placed very close to deep Gandanta degrees in the 2nd house of Family Expansion is not really preferred.
3. Natural signifier for progeny or Naisargika Putra-Karaka Jupiter/Guru-dev has below par Vimsopaka Bala in Dasha Varge. He is being placed in his Neecha-Sthana or sign of debilitation in D-1 or Rashi and D-9 Navamsa is perhaps a sign. But then, he shows up in his Uccha-Sthana or sign of exaltation in D-7 or Saptamsa should give a ray of hope.
4. Sun/Ravi is placed close to Mrityu Bhaga and within the fatal Trimsamsa degrees is not a good sign.
5. Mars/Kuja the 2nd lord of Family Expansion and Saturn/Shani-dev the co-lord of 5th house of Progeny being caught in the Rahu (the other co-lord of 5th house) - Ketu access or them being in close conjunction and aspecting each other mutually is not preferred either.
6. Current Maha-Dasha lord Mercury/Budha is placed in the 3rd house in the Zodiac sign of Sagittarius or Dhanur Rashi, ruled by Jupiter/Guru-dev and posited in the Lunar Constellation of Purvashada Nakshatra, ruled by Venus/Shukra - both with inherent weakness, is not a good sign either.
In summary, I'd be a bit skeptical too and would be inclined to agree with whoever you consulted. That said, I think there is most definitely a ray of hope and it's not complete denial (the issue is also dependent on the other/better half and combined Karma). In any case, it would make sense for you to consider getting a through medical check-up/test done (sooner rather than later) to assess potential issues and work on addressing them.
Sincerely...
