If you look from Lagna-- 7th house Ra and 12th house Ve, Ma Combust almost same degree with Su. (I can see why he needs additional efforts to keep the marriage going.)

Vel, as per the above given info, the Lagna is in Simha only, the Lagna lord Sun & Mars are in Lagna Bhava. Rahu is in the 8th Bhava. Jupiter the 8th lord is in Taurus in Dasamsa lagna. 10th lord Saturn is in 9th in Dasamsa.
