I am a beginner in KP astrology and wanted to ask 2 main questions.
1. As it is written that rahu and ketu act as agents of planets via conjunction or aspect. If one of them is not aspected/conjunct at all would it give result only of the star Lord or if it is aspected by few planets, which should be given the preference.
Example. Let's say ketu in moons nakshatra and moon in ketu nakshatra in aries. Ketu in taurus. Aspected by Jupiter in virgo. Lagna is say leo. Should the significations of ketu be 10,8,12 due to moon or 10,2,5,8 or something else??
2. How to see retrograde planets.

ragu ketu act like the lord of the house they are sitting. thats the first concept. if ketu is sitting in 5th house, it will bestow kids, love, creative prospects etc, given that the 5th lord is placed strongly. if the house lord is weak then it will create troubles in the house.
then ketu and ragu will act like the conjunct planets, then aspecting planets and then the star lord of the star its sitting on
