Hi
My son's DOB is 17-7-2009 (11.42 am) ernakulam.I think he has strong saturn influence since his bdate is 17(1+7=8) and 17+7+2009 = again 8 and birth time (11+42) again 8.Grandmom fell and had disk problem and was bed ridden when he was 3 months old.We had a terrible car accident when he was 6 months old and miraculously escaped( child was in car seat).
His eyes were hurt when other child threw stone on him when he was 6 yrs old.Always has cold,cough problems though good at studies and thinking skills .Poor at time management or lazy.His name is [SNIP]. Should we go for a name change for him for reduce any malefic effects.
(he attends a religious class every week and recite OM nama shivay 108 times at home everyday).
Is name change recommended ?

Saturn is the ruler of number 8. Saturn is in 12th house.king wrote: 21 Dec 2018 My son's DOB is 17-7-2009 (11.42 am) ernakulam.I think he has strong saturn influence since his bdate is 17(1+7=8) and 17+7+2009 = again 8 and birth time (11+42) again 8.
Boy's dasa running at that time was Venus-Mercury-Mercury.king wrote: 21 Dec 2018 Grandmom fell and had disk problem and was bed ridden when he was 3 months old.
His lagna is Virgo. 7th house indicates Grandmom. 7H is Pisces.
For Pisces Mercury is badhaka lord, and Venus is 8th lord.
That was Venus-Mercury-Venus.king wrote: 21 Dec 2018 We had a terrible car accident when he was 6 months old and miraculously escaped( child was in car seat).
Venus signifies both 8H, 11H; gave accident event and also saved;
Planets played double game (role).
That was Sun dasa; Sun signifies badhaka house;king wrote: 21 Dec 2018 His eyes were hurt when other child threw stone on him when he was 6 yrs old.
Saturn from 12H aspecting 2H (eyes).
Mars aspecting Saturn in 12H.
Ascendant lord Mercury and Sun, are in Cancer sign (cold) with Ketu.
Mercury combustion indicates weak resistance.
Mars aspecting 4th house (Lungs).
According to 'Placidus house system', Moon, Mars, Venus are in 8th house.king wrote: 21 Dec 2018 though good at studies and thinking skills .Poor at time management or lazy.
Saturn in 12th house.
Planets not getting good aspects from Jupiter.
Asc lord Mercury is with 12th lord Sun; in combustion by Sun; afflicted by Ketu.
So freewill is less.
[SNIP]= 6+4+9+3+2+1+5 = 30 = 3 = Jupiterking wrote: 21 Dec 2018 His name is [SNIP]. Should we go for a name change for him for reduce any malefic effects.
[SNIP]= 1+9+2+1+7+6+2+1+1+9 = 39 = 3+9 = 12 = 1+2 = 3 = Jupiter
[SNIP][SNIP]= 3+3 = 6 = Mars.
Both Mars and Jupiter signifying 8th house.
Sun, Jupiter, Saturn signifying 5th house indicate Lord Siva.king wrote: 21 Dec 2018 he attends a religious class every week and recite OM nama shivay 108 times at home everyday.
Let him continue this.

Really curious to know.
But before that, if you claim that it is Vedic numerology, I'm skeptical, because Veda works with Vedic sound not with the English alphabets.

Again, these numbers are according to Western dates, so how will even planets effect someone with western dates??
What does 2009 or July in Vedic means? We have different years according to Vedic.
We are applying all the Vedic tools to Western dates, I think it is not at all appropriate.
These English dates does not have any meaning from Vedic point of view. So, these calculations are independent of the effect of planets on us.
PS: Numericals should be the number which is according to waxing moon & waning moon, I mean it should be Vedic date but not 31st of some December month or some August month.
There are alphabets in English which is not there in our Indian languages at all, like 'fa' but a numerical value was given to it in some of the websites.
There is something called Katapayaadi system & some other ancient Kerala school techniques to understand Vedic numerology. We should use only them.
And the name also, as the name is [SNIP][SNIP], [SNIP]should contain only three letters, they are [SNIP], [SNIP]& [SNIP]... Rest follows
So, I feel that any analysis with western dates are inappropriate.
These are not in BPHS and Jaimini.Neha M wrote: 26 Dec 2018 dear astrostarI would feel glad if you could explain how did you associate letters with numerical value?
So need not believe them.
Only believe those things which are in BPHS and Jaimini.

Jaimini Sutras can be understood fully & with perfection only when we know Vedic numerology & katapayaadi techniques & other school of thoughts are tools to understand it.
They are really mind blowing astrostar Ji
Yes, absolutely & along with other sages like Narada, Garga, Vasihta, Bhrgu & other respectable seers.
Yes astrostar Ji you are very correct, belief is very important in one's life

Dear astrostar, I've told that Katapayaadi technique & other techniques lay a path to understand Vedic numerology not Astrology as a whole.
& I'm not speaking about the Astrology which is developed in this modern era.
If you know Math it doesn't guarantee you that you'll become an Engineer but it's a base to understand.
I've pursued my Engineering degree, I cannot say that Physics & Math are waste. Because they laid a path for me to Engineer things.
BPHS & Jaimini are the standard textbooks & they stand a base to enhance furtherly.
Of course, right? Without them how do we even know or can learn Astrology?
