effects of chidra dasha

dear friends,

Will the next comming mahadasha will show its effect before the ending of the current running dasha?
for example in my chart saturn mahadahsa is going to end in may 2020 will the up comming mercury mahadasha shows its effects from now or should i have to wait for the completion of saturn mahadasha.

I have read in some articles that if we are facing problems in ending of current dasha it will continue in the next upcomming mahadasha also is this true?

will there be any sudden change financially or career wise during chidra dasha(transition). Please let me know since i am not feeling and good signs yet related to my mercury dasha.
