had a job offer; but trusted senior and lost it because of it- Please advice on when can I expect a new one

Hi all,

- joined a shared services of a VC firm, with pay cut in April 2017 to broaden the experience
- But the firm did not deliver in terms of experience and one of the senior has created a lot of problems and costing mental peace.
- One of the client offered me a job, I discussed with my senior (he seemed sweet and trusting and had concerns about people) primarily due to non solicitation (just industry practise no agreement signed)
- my personal life has also been affected in area of father (he was in jail from Nov to Jan, 2018) for a case filed against him
- I am looking out for a decent job opportunity / planning to study further- MBA in the hope that I atleast have a decent job opportunity / future;
- MBA becoz with a degree with good institute I can join as a professor somewhere; and not be part of corporate politiking; as I am very frustrated of it

What is the field I should choose; I am a CA; but CA today has lot many fileds like accounting, taxation, back office jobs, etc

- Is there a Higher study in my chart?

- If not, when will I get atleast a decent job; coz the start up gave me an offer of double my salary; and I dnt know whether I ll get a similar job in next month.

I am planning to leave this job max till March, as else it will be very frustrating for me to continue here
