Hi Learned Members
Ketu gives us Moksha.
This fact alone (besides the flag which Ketu represents which denotes victory), says a lot about the beneficial effects of Ketu.
Now Karma Yoga is liberating actions on Earth. When we have our eyes on God, and placed our entire devotion on him, there is actually no need for Karma Yoga.
But all of us are placed in various situational contexts, since we are born into a life that is to be led on Earth, and hence we need Karma Yoga to guide us ie. performing our worldy actions (Karma) in a liberating way (Yoga) ie. do not attach too much signifcance to them otherwise the karma would build inside us and to attain moksha becomes all the more that difficult.
The 6th house actions has the capacity to bind us (unlike the 10th house actions).
Sun, Saturn, Mars and Mercury are the significator of actions of the type Higher Administration eg. supervising others for their evolvement, hard manual labour, energetic and fast, and thinking and discernment RESPECTIVELY.
All the aforesaid mentioned actions can bind especially if those planets are also placed in the 6th house.
When those planets combine with Ketu, especially if the conjunction also happens in the 6th house, Ketu provides the detachment to steer clear of Karma that bind, and instead the Karma done becomes Karma Yoga ie. liberating actions.
In the 12th house, Ketu gives Moksha through generating high spiritual energy.
Venus conjunct Ketu gives Tapasi, Saturn conjunct Ketu gives concentrated devotional effort (but excluding the penance kind because Saturn is not a Guru planet unlike Venus), Saturn conjunct Venus conjunct Ketu gives a higher order of Tapasi, Moon conjunct Ketu gives a person oriented towards spirituality ie. his mind is always thinking of holy thoughts.
The aforesaid mentioned combinations if found in the 12th gives a more intense manifestation of the said characteristic, which is mostly about the person's spirituality.
Ketu in Kendras, according to BPHS, is highly auspicious during Ketu's dasa. Because Ketu actually detaches the person from the kendra from which it is placed and since the 4 kendras are the pillars of the chart created by Brahma to bind us to the life on this Earth, Ketu placed in kendra is liberating too. If it conjuncts any of the planets mentioned in this thread, accordingly the person is that much closer towards attaining Moksha (maybe not in this current lifetime but still the repeated births are reduced), through the ways of that planet conjuncting Ketu for the affairs as governed by the bhava where the conjunction is placed.
so for example, Moon conjunct Ketu in the 7th. The mind is highly spiritual and the person is less attached to worldly matters of relationships. Even if he settles down, he is able to accept his mater would still eventually die, and each of them has to meet the maker on his own.
Best Regards
Khoo

Dear khoo Ji,
I have ketu with sun in 9th house, creating pitru dosha and grahan Dosh also, it has given me very bad results as far as worldly matters are concerned but I have interest in spiritual books and occult science.
Please explain it's other effects.
I have heard that ketu in 9th house may give accidents during visit of spiritual places also sun is lord of 8th house in my chart.
Does it mean that I will die in any spiritual place?
Currently I am under dasa of rahu-ketu and rahu's gochar is in my 8th house. I am not sure what to predict.
Thanks and Regards,
Jemsmiles
