I am looking at this website here - http://www.drikpanchang.com/planet/asta ... -time.html

regarding combustion for Shukra. Right now Venus is retrograding till April 7th 2017.

But I do not see Venus getting combust as Sun approaches Venus shortly. So is there a rule that if a planet is retrograde then it cannot be combust ?

Hi gansub,

I did read about retro planets can't get combust. I am not where but definitely on this forum for sure.

Please use search option. If I find it meanwhile, I will write back.

Hi,

From what I have read, inner orbit planets i.e., Mercury & Venus can be combust whilst retrograde
For outer orbit planets combustion whilst retrograde is not possible
