Dear members,

I'm trying to make sense of the Double Transits of Saturn and Jupiter in my chart. There was a big event in my relationship life when Saturn and Jupiter both transited Aries in 1999. In my Lagna chart Jupiter is in the 8th house in Capricorn and Saturn is in the 6th house in Scorpio. In my Moon chart Saturn is in the 8th house and Jupiter in the 10th. Moon sign is Aries, Lagna is Gemini.

I want to know what the transit of Saturn into Sag and later the transit of Jupiter into Libra bring in regards to relationships. Here are my observations, please have a look and let me know.

--

Saturn into Sag: 7th house of my Moon chart, aspecting 9th, 1st and 3rd house. 9th house of my Lagna chart, aspecting 11th, 3rd and 5th house.

Jupiter in Virgo (until next Jupiter transit): 6th house of my Moon chart, aspecting 10th, 12th and 2nd houses. 4th house of my Lagna chart, aspecting 8th, 10th and 12th house.

Jupiter in Libra after next transit: 7th house of my Moon chart, aspecting 11th, 1st, 3rd. In Lagna: 5th house, aspecting 9th, 11th and 1st house.

Would it be possible that after Saturn's transit into Sagittarius a new love relationship will happen? And that after Jupiter's move into Libra this relationship will further develop? Any idea on the place of meeting?

Dasha wise it should be supporting it, I think. Moon Dasha, Sun Antradasha coming up. In March I will go through Jupiter Sub-sub period. Jupiter and Saturn in sub-sub period have been triggering relationships for me in the past.

If you have any observations about these transits for me, please let me know.

My details:

DOB: 02/25/1985
TOB: 12:39pm
Place: Stuttgart, Germany

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I hope I am more able to understand the transits :-)

Dear Daisy_85,
Let us get the basics right first. Transits can give meaningful results only if the existing Dasa periods support an event. If Dasa is not supporting any event, transits cannot do anything on their own.
Regarding Saturn in your chart, it cannot support development of any new relationship. Rather in your chart, it has the adverse power to terminate an existing relationship during its period/sub-periods.
Jupiter in your chart has the power of sustaining and flowering of a relationship in.
Do you remember any time when you could sustain a relationship during Saturn Major period or sub period?
Your relationship in 1999 was during Ven-Mer period.
Could it sustain beyond 2001?

Dear sgowswami,
thank you very much for your reply! No, the first relationship 1999 did not sustain until 2001. But my longest relationships both formed under Saturn's sub-sub period. One was Sun-Moon-Saturn period, the other Moon-Mercury-Saturn. Moon Dasha Saturn Antradasha was, however, very bad in regards to relationships. I'm still a beginner to vedic astrology, but I read a lot about the impact of Saturn and Jupiter for important events, especially marriage and relationships. From your point of view, when would there be a new relationship/marriage in my life? I always try to learn more :-)

Based on your feedback, I had to tweak the birth time you have given. With the time you mentioned, Sat is positioned at the edge of 6th house in chalit chart. Just after 2 minutes it moves to 5th house which now makes sense of the periods mentioned by you. With 6th house signification, Sat could not have supported any relationship. But considering rectified time of say 12.42 pm, it becomes a significator of 5th house and relationships. Together with 8th house signification, it becomes a strong significator of relationships including physical.
Coming to current Dasa, Moon is neutral to relationships. Sun sub period has both significations of making and breaking of relationship at Star and Sub lord level. Forthcoming sub-sub periods of Rahu & Jup are neutral (Rah a bit negative) & may not support relationships. Thereafter Mon-Sun-Sat towards end Jan 2017 seems favourable. But owing to separative significations in Sun, any relationship is likely to be short lived.
The next Mahadasa of Mars with signification of 1st, 6th and 10th houses is unlikely to support any long term relationship.

This is very interesting. I had the birth time confirmed by the hospital twice, but, of course, it's always a tricky subject. I looked at my past to see during what time I had strong relationship prospects. Interestingly, one was during Moon-Mars-Rahu, one Moon-Rahu-Saturn and one very significant one during Moon-Saturn-Rahu. So, somehow Rahu and Saturn seem to play a role in my relationships. Very interesting. Hm, with what you said, my relationship future doesn't seem very bright :-( I'm almost 32, I want to find a suitable partner for a long-term relationship and marriage. If Mars Dasha doesn't support it, I will be in my late 30's and still alone.
