I'm new to the forum and started learning astrology .
Why is Aries Ascendant consider Venus Malefic . When read benefic and enemy planets for each ascendant , Venus was not mentioned as enemy planet for Aries ascendant . But few consider as enemy . How to consider Venus for Aries ascendant .
Normally 2nd and 7th Lord are to be considered Benefic planet .Will that Venus create any issue in marriage life if placed in 2nd or 7th House ?

Each house has multiple functions and nature. Second house denotes wealth, family, speech etc. Second house is
also a killer or maraka house. Seventh is also a killer house. Based on this factor venus becomes a maraka for Aries.
Malefics for each house are calculated using different principle.
For aries asscendant, the seventh house Libra is a house of relationship. If you want to find out malefics for
relationship, treat the 7th as the first house and find malefics for it.

Hi All,
Greeting to all!
I stumbled upon this forum and have this situtation (Aries ascendant & Venus in 7th house). I am currently in 18th year of my Venus mahadasha, which, to tell you the truth, hasn't been very fruitful.
Will the next , sun mahadasha be good for my career?

Ususally a lagna 's malefic and benefic is based on the lords of 6th and 8th and 12th house.
For aries lagna, Mercury severe malefic and will not do any good as the 6th lord. 8th lord will Mars itself. 12th lord would be Jup who is Mars friend.
So Mercury would be the worst planet for aries lagna.

Thanks for your reply. You are very accurate in your prediction. Being born with moon in revati nakshatra (p3) with mercury as it's ruler, it's painful to know that it is severe malefic. I do have goals of artistic pursuits.
I am currently in the mercury antardasha of my venus mahadasha. Venus being maraka (as lord of 2nd and 7th houses) has not been kind to me.
Also venus in 7th house under vishaka nakshatra (ruled by jupiter). Jupiter being lord of 12th house .
Can we also conclude that it (venus mahadasha) will give effects of 12th house?
