Importance of KN Rao

Dear astrologers,
The gist of KN Rao 's teaching is simple- use astrology to meet spiritual end.
This is why, he always ask every one to chant Vishnu Sahasranaam or Panchakshari...
And, Guru jee or Baba - as he is lovingly addressed - never indulges in blunt language or high handed behavior .

Why ! Well, he in his words, a seeker is like a patient; so an astrologer must also show patience with him/her.
A true astrologer always acts as a Guru (vanquisher of ignorance ) and makes his/her point known in a lucid manner.
Last, his/her real dakshina (earning ) is spiritual bliss (sacchidananda awastha).

He once wittingly told Swami Vidhya aranya Maharaj jee- " Maharaj ! How can you expect me to build a jyotish vidhyalaya;when I have neither Saree (wife), Badi (house/ assets ) and Gadi (vehicle).
Swami ji smilingly said- This is why destiny has chosen you - the selfless one..."
