There are so many nice and kind learned astrologer here. They must have seen hundreds or thousands of charts. Given, I have not, I wish to know if having yogas tells the native something about his own unique, special journey of life planned by celestial bodies or they are just good luck charms?
Does having a good and strong yoga guarantee results?
Moreover, how common is it to have a number of good yogas in a chart? Let's say if a native has 15 or 20 good yogas out of which 10 are major ones and strong. Is it a common scene?
Again there are different methods prescribed in various texts, some add combinations, while others deny the very combinations by applying the term "only".
For an example, Ruchak yoga to be considered only from lagna says one text while other suggests either lagna or Chandra.
What's your take? How do I avoid conflicting ideas?

Force yourself to get in the habit of not believing everything and anything that you read (any source, ancient or modern) but testing those yourself in a decent number of reliable charts (birthdata) where confirmation, feedback is possible.

Birth details again -
8th Jan 1988, 6:24 am
Latitude 20 : 42 : N
Longitude 86 : 47 : E

There is a weird pattern of yogas in my chart, related to moon.
1. Moon flanked by none - Kemadruma
But
2. Mars in Kendra from moon in own sign
Perhaps a form of Ruchak yoga? (While in 12th bhava from lagna hence Kuja? Ruchak + strong Mars = very strong kuja?)
3. Now moon and Jupiter shadastak, hence Shakata yoga.
4. But, Jupiter in own house and in Kendra from lagna hence Mukuta yoga?
5. Furthermore, 6th from moon, has mercury and Venus, none in 7th, Jupiter in 8th. A form of chandradhi yoga? ( some say all 6,7,8 needs to be occupied, some say any combination ll do)

(I never have believed that a Yoga can be cancelled by some other mere combinations, if you have them both, you face them both)

My experience has clearly been able to identify both Shakata and kemadruma and Kuja as well.
Human though has a tendency to take his good fortune for granted. Can anyone confirm please?

It's commonly suggested that when two planets exchange owned signs, parivartana yoga is formed.
What if more than 2 planets are involved in exchange? I referred to some discussions, where the existence of tri-parivartana , chatus and so on were also suggested. Furthermore, Navamsa of Mr. Sachin Tendulkar was also given an example where 6 planets exchanged houses.
However, I could not find any text anywhere describing possible effects. Does anyone have any reference material on this subject?
Any idea?
