1. Certainly not a horror story... I see initial focus on career but Ketu wants to remove the native from his work and Rahu wants to take the native to a more emotional, spiritual journey. Lord of the 5th is in the 1st, lord of the 12th is in the 1st and lord of the 9th is in the 12th. Ultimately one's path should lead to a spiritual and private place.

However, take into account that lord of the 1st is in the 10th with Saturn, initially this person was likely career/discipline oriented.

Lord of the 10th is in the 12th with sun in the sign of Scorpio, this again shows interest in spirituality and/or occult. Since 1st lord is jupiter, ones career can be within the field of spiritual practice, occult science, other worldly things.

In the D10 chart, moon and mars are conjunct in the 1st, in the sign of taurus, lord of the 1st goes into the 12th. This is not only an indication of a 12th house/spiritual career, there is parivartana yoga between Mars and Venus. This makes this spiritual career very powerful.

In the D10 the 10th lord is conjunct Rahu and 8th lord Jupiter in Virgo.

I could even see an astrologer being produced from this chart.

2 & 3. Rahu does not like the sign of cancer and has even more animosity towards the 8th house. Spiritual progress I see can often come through pain, rebirth. Transformative and painful Rahu and Ketu periods aren't surpising. Prescribe the native with the only remedial measure. FOLLOW RAHU.

Tell the native to keep his head up and walk into the mysterious eighth house, research your occult, astrological and spiritual interests.

Rahu acts as a re-alligner for your destiny. If you are not focused on the things Rahu wants you to persue on, it will MAKE you focus on those things, e.g. sudden unexpected health issues or sudden events or accidents.

4. Dasha results are too vague from my perspective, but I can understand that prediction. This native has an exceptional Navamsa. There are problems in all marriages, I don't see anything out of the ordinary.
