Namaste,

Is there anything like transition stage between dashas? People say dramatic changes take place when one mahadasa is about to end and another mahadasa is about to begin. Is this true and r changes always bad? Also does it vary from planet to planet?

Dear Krishna,

Very nice explanation. I can personally tell that my recent transition from Ketu MD to Ve MD, which has just started last month. I think I am bit positive thats all.. Nothin life changing occured but just generaly positivity. So maybe this is wt we can expect depending upon nature of dasha and antra.

Thanks. I am at the end of Venus major period (ketu sub period is going on). It will end within a year, after which sun major period will start. My changes r the following: I am usually very soft but I find myself becoming more and more aggressive. Also women are really 'looking' at me, if u know what I mean. So changes within myself plus changes in the way people treat me.

This "cuff or envelope" period could be due to the slightly differences in ayanamshas utilized as well as slight differences in dasha-arambha calculations (time vs degrees) used by some software programmers. That said, it is not often that sudden or significant changes are observed in most individuals when dashas change. A few sensitive individuals do report significant and sometimes *telling* dreams etc, but such anecdotal experiences are too inconsistent to be taken seriously or as the norm.
