Does 1st lord in 12th indicates foreign settlement...?

Hello friends,

i just read a article about Foreign Settlement Indications

It was mentioned that Having the ascendant lord in the 12th house is sure combination that indicates foreign settlement abroad.

What are your views and opinion on this...?

Yes it does indicate living far away from your place of birth but settlement happens if the 12th sign happens to be a fixed one or if the ascendant lord is afflicted by malefics.

what about the reverse - ie 12th lord in 1st? Does that suggest a foreign influence?
