Nadi Astrology contain some deep secrets of prediction on the basis on navamsa. Some of the good books on this subject are: Devakeralam, Dhruv Madi, Chandra Kala Nadi, Budha Nadi, Bargava Nadi.
Late Sh CS Patel has discussed these in detial in his wonderful book Predicting through Navamsa and Nadi Astrology (Sagar Publication)
Let me share here one such gem from his book which always works as Hitting Bull's eye:
From Chandra Kala Nadi
लग्नेशे निधांशस्थे मूढ़े षष्ठगतेsथवा
क्षुद्वाधया च मरणं बन्धुहीने महीतले
It means "When the lord of the Asc is posited in the navamsa Rasi owned by the 8th house or is eclipsed by the rays of Sun or in the 6th house, the native will die of starvation or on the bare ground woth no blood relative on his side"
Example-1: Mahatama Gandhi
Lagna: Libra
Rashi in 8H: Taurus
In D-9: Ven is in Taurus Navamsa
Acc to this verse for the Libra Asc, if the LL Ven is in the Taurus navamsa then the person will die on ground with no relative on his/her side.
Plz note Ven in its mool trikona sign in D-1 and in own sign in D-9 wil give many wonderful results to the native but this dictum is only for the death.
Example-2: Indira Gandhi
Lagna: Cancer
Rashi in 8H: Aquarius
In D-9: Moon is in Aquarius
Same results as of Mahatama Gandhi

Extrapolating the same results:
Whenever lord of any house is in the navamsa rashi of 8H from this very house, this house will suffer.
I've observed it in may chart the results of the marital matters
सप्तमेशे धनांशस्थे पुंश्चली कामिनी भवेत्
शनि शुक्रौ स्मरे यस्य पुनर्भूरंगना मता
Whenever 7L for any lagna is in the navamsa of sign occupied by 2H of D-1, the person will have immoral spouse.
Example:
Native: 15-Mar-1979 14-00 Delhi
Lagna: Cancer
Rashi in 2H; Leo
7L Sat is in Leo in D-1 as well as D-9
SO the Sat is vargottam and wil give the native good results being the YK as well as Vargottam.
But since 7L Sat is posited in Leo navamsa the spouse of this person had many affairs & physical relation with many prior to marriage.

Thanks for posting these. I am quoting the last one as I had come across it in another text with a somewhat open ended interpretation. Please see below.
Here its saying - D1 7th lord should be in the Navamsa of the 2nd house.
This can mean two things:
1. 7th lord in navamsa of sign occupied by 2H of D-1 (what you indicated)
2. 7th lord in the navamsa of the 2nd house. This can be whatever navamsa is rising in D1 2nd house based on rising degree.
Do you have more charts to share on the same lines?
I say because then the meaning of this dictum can be nailed down.

I agree with your observations. I also tried many of the formulas given by Sh CS Patel like Eventful years, Rashi Tulya Navamsa, Results of a planet in the Conjunction of its rashi & nak dispositor etc. but they are not completely working.
But the present one, I shared here, has been tested by me and found to be working.
