Separation Or Continue On

Hi,

Me & my wife have been advised to separate for 3 mons after which all of our issues would resolve?
I have had issues from this marriage since the last 3 years but beginning of this year things got really bad.
The question I am right now trying to answer is - Will this relationship be any better after August 2014 or will it deteriorate?
