I was looking over my D10 , D9 and D1 chart...Can you kindly help with these questions?

1. In D1 , Lord of 11th house in 8th also 12th house in 8th...So will that be a net loss ? Because lord of earning is also lord of house of losses...Please also consider in both the D10 and D1chart, lord of 10th is in 11th and lord of 11th is in 8th..

So how these two things correlate?

2. I am bit confused how to relate my D9 chart with D1 and D10 for career...

kguha001, my advice to you is that if you want to have basic understanding, you should only focus on the D1 chart first. get your basics strong and keep discovering things. you would be able to make most of your judgments through D1 and D9 only.

If the 11 and 12 house lords are in the eighth why do you see it as a loss?

ask yourself what eighth house stands for and you would find eighth house is for unearned income also, some people consider it for small journeys (some consider ninth and third as well), occult science etc. if the lord of 11th is here, why do you think, there would be losses only.

positions are important but look after benefic and malefic aspect, lordships, positions of other planets with respect to that planet, karaka etc.

there will be so much to do in D1 itself that you would almost forget about D10 etc. D9 is important to find out the grahabala though.

Thanks for the response..I was thinking of loss as 12th house also stands for loss...While 11th is gain, I can understand that 11th lord in 8th will create gains from inheritance/lottery etc...But at the same time 12th lord is also in 8th...

kguha001, it depends. for example if Saturn is in eighth in Libra, being an 11th and 12th house lord won't be considered bad instead this could be a beneficial yoga.
