Hello all,
Question on the MahaDasha of a retrograde planet.... does it also give results of the house behind it?(that it's retrograding towards), then if so, would any aspects it makes to planets or planets to it from that house also come into effect during the antardasha's of those planets involved?
example:
I'm in Dasha of Retro Saturn in my 6th. ...in the bhava chalit chart it appears in the 5th, and thus is in mutual aspects with Mars+Sun+Rahu (+conjunct ketu) then also recieves an aspect from Jupiter.
Second question but in regards to the same topic,
If a planet in an enemy sign appears in it's own or exalted sign in the bhava chalit (or is retrograde in enemy sign + is heading back towards it's exaltation or own sign), would it give stronger/better results in it's Dasha period?
(my saturn in scorpio...but appears in Libra in bhava chalit)
Thank you
Dasha of Retrograde planet...

it's not a one size fits all answer.
i just finished my retrograde jupiter in the 10th house of capricorn dasha. it was not spectacular but it definitely was not bad by any means. in my personal experience i did notice that my spirituality was amplified quite a bit starting in the year 2000 or so. that may have to do with jupiter retrograding towards the 9th, or it may just have to do with the natural significations of jupiter in the first place.

Thanks for replying,
Yes it is a bit difficult to read, especially in your case where Jupiter itself could've lead to spirituality amplification...Though check which antardasha you were in around the year 2000 or so when you said that began.
I'm curious about my Retro Saturn's effects since it's moving back to it's Exaltation sign, and appears in that sign(libra) too in the bhava chalit chart - Where some astrologers believe it shows the true effect of planets during their dasha.

hiimnotcool,
The reason behind your spiritual amplification during that period is Jupiter rulerships on both 9th and 12th house, especially 12th house.
I don't think retrograde planets give effects as if they were situated in the previous house. I have retro Saturn in my 3rd house and since my saturn dasha started in 1998 overall indications have been always related to 3rd house, not 2nd house. And it is really hard to make a strict distinction between houses especially two consecutive houses.
As far as I am concerned, Rashi placements of planets are only seen from Rashi Chart. In Bhava Chalit rashis are not taken into consideration. It is only related to the house placement of the planets. In your case, Saturn is always in scorpio. What your Bhava Chalit indicates that altough your Saturn is in the 6th house of your Rashi Chart, it could carry the 6th house significations into the 5th house to some extent during its dasha. This house shifts generally occurs when there is 15 or more degree difference between the planet and the most effective point of the house that planet posited in.
