Is there any specific method to fix ascendant in D9 chart

Dear Experts,

Is there any best or appropriate method to fix ascendant of D9 when ascendant is changing/changed in the range of fraction of seconds (say for example in the range of 20 seconds to 50 seconds). Or it is to be fixed only by virtue of BTR after analyzing past events of native?

You can try using the Navamsha dasha to correct your lagna in the navamsha, there is also the narayana dasha. I haven't used these yet, so interpreting them is another study, but that is why you are here.

You can look into the padas of the nakshatra in which your ascendent falls, that can rectify it to the nearest pada, in some cases changing the rasi and nakshatra.

But say for instance you are a Mesha/Ashvini ascendent
You have Mars/Ketu energies running in your personality.

The first four navamshas from mesha, which correlate to the padas, are
(cardinal from that element, so cardinal of fire is aries, first navamsha of aries is aries)
Aries, ruled by mars
taurus, ruled by venus
gemini, ruled by mercury
cancer, ruled by moon

Those are the pada rulers of asvinnie, in mars.

Mars/ketu and one of the four above will determine your personality.
you can intuitively understand which pada you should belong to if you know yourself well and you know the nakshatra of asvinni and all it stands for.

You can then see if you are more of the mars, venus, mercury or moon part of asvinnie.

This is still just a best guess, but this is to rectify the navamsha not the D60.

The ascendent is only one navamsha, 200' or 13 minutes 20 seconds.

Using the diurnal positions of the planets you can rectify the Lagna down to a degree.

Hopefully it won't be the case that the lagna is nearing the end of a pada.

If you want, Ragav, I can attempt to rectify your lagna to within a degree, and I will then see if you will have a changing navamsha chart. I also have the same situation. The birth time rectification method involves solid dates of events that you consider life changing. If you are interested then you can contact me privately and I will try my best. Free of course.
