Why the delay? My Choosing or Destiny?

Perhaps I've gone through a bad patch for some years now.
It's good that I was alone in it, as my better half deserves a better time with me,
that's possibly my future.

But, is my delaying of my own choosing or Am I destined to do so?

My earnest request to anybody who could help me with what the stars say.
