Dear Shilpa ji and Ramanan ji,
I am highly educated in the field of accounting and finance and have had an up-and-down career for last 10+ years in this field. Recently, I have been feeling that this is not the right field for me as I am not passionate about this work. I am unhappy in my current job and am not sure if it is right for me to continue in this field.
Lately, the need to seek a change in profession has been strong. I want to consider a profession in the arts - something creative. Is there any indication in the chart about whether I will be successful if I leave the current line and pursue something along these lines? I am asking as this would mean quitting my job, going back to studying for the new line and will also put a stress on me financially. Or should I just dismiss this off as a mid life crisis and pray for the feeling to pass:)
Please advise.

There is certainly a link between the 2/5/10 L and Mars aspecting the 2nd lord, with Sun & mer in the lagna is indicating finance/accounts/auditing. Probably as you said, you should be a CA, ICWA, CS etc.
Both Venus (10L) in papakartari is probably creating the situation. Also, you are in sade-sati and saturn is transiting on the natal moon and also 4th from natal saturn. Probably a cause of dis-satisfaction, unhappiness. I feel it is transitory.
Mer-Ven D/AD (end of 2014) should ease the position.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I should wait and bear the feeling of unhappiness on career front then. With regard to your other question, I have been divorced a few years now.
