As per BPHS (tranlated version that I have) "If Putr’s Lord is in Ari Bhava, the native will obtain such sons, who will be equal to his enemies...."
Going by this, Mo being in 6th should indicate that the native's mother is his enemy. Which is correct?
From my own experience, I tend to agree with Shrikanthji. I also have Mo in 6th, but debilitated in Sc. My mother did face adversities and there certainly no enmity between my mother and myself (though I may not have been her blue eyed boy
). The only aspect on Mo is Ketu's 9th house aspect (hope it is valid! ). As a learner I am quite confused whether the adversities faced by my mother is due to the debilitation or due to 6th house placement.
