Reviewing your Sister's chart.
Libra Ascendant with a strong Venus well placed in it.
5th house for progeny has Ketu and the 5th lords Rahu and Saturn are placed in inimical Leo in the 11th house.
Rahu and Saturn are weakened by their positioning in Leo but still they are aspecting their house - so do strengthen it.
Malefic influences on the house usually delays children - even if it their own house.

Coming to Saptamsa - Jupiter as the karaka for this varga is placed in the 6th house - indicating some weaknesses in this area of life.
First child is indicated by Moon (Scorpio ascendant - counting counter clockwise) and he's placed in the lagna.
Cancer in Saptamsa is aspected by Rahu and Moon; Rahu's aspect or influence to the paka usually indicates delay in that child.

Your sister is currently running Jup/Merc until Aug 2012 and Ketu period thereafter.
Ketu period (Aug 2012 to Jul 2013) has the tendency to give the first child to continue the lineage of the family - here he's placed in Leo and for most part is not involved much with Cancer or Moon in any way.
Based on this chart I believe Ketu can be when she has potential to conceive, but the childbirth will mostly be in Jup/Venus timeframe. Both Jup and Venus are aspecting Moon by Rasi drishti and Venus has a graha drishti on Cancer as well.

In your Brother-in-law chart.
Lagna Pisces, with 5th lord Moon is in Lagna, Lagna lord Jupiter is debilitated in the 11th aspecting the 5th house.
There are many other Rasi drishti's on the 5th house from planets placed in the 3rd house - Sat,Sun and Venus are primarily problemmatic with their aspects here.
Your Brother-in-law is running Moon dasa from Jul 2009 and as the 5th lord it is holding some potential.

In the Saptamsa - Jupiter as the karaka is placed in the 12th and so again aligning with more problems in this area of life. This is a major weakness in the chart for this query.
Saptamsa lagna is Sagittarius and 5th in clockwise is Aries, situating Merc. 5th lord Mars is placed in Gemini.

There are some afflictions/weaknesses in both charts so conception may not happen in the next 2 years or so.
Based on aligning both charts mostly there is a good chance of conception in late 2012 or early 2013 and childbirth sometime between Jul 2013 and Oct 2013
The first child will most probably be a girl child based on aligning both Saptamsa charts.

Namaste. I have been told that your predictions are very accurate and objective. Could you please go through my chart and offer me some solutions for my current problems- health and severe digestions problems, insomnia, strained relations with neighbours, friends and relatives and desire to move to better surroundings and a new house. I am told that I have a well-placed saturn but there is a school of thought which says that even a well-placed saturn gives problems during its antardasha, which I am currently going through. Also does Saturn aspect on 4th Moon create problems? I would be obliged if you could advise me on a gem remedy and mantra recitation.
