Can you confirm it ? If your lagna is Taurus, I am sorry, my analysis is wrong. So I ask - How was the time from Aug 1978 onwards until now? i.e when Saturn and Mercury were having its Mahadasas ? Since Saturn is yogkarak and Merc is benefic for Taurus, was it excellent time so far ?
Also, if it is Taurus L, then Merc MD with Sat AD should never have landed in misery.

If it is Taurus Lagna and Mercury and Saturn have been so far good; you have nothing to worry

Please note, it does not change that - Mercury is in Retrograde + in 11th sign + in Neecha (without neecha bhang). Saturn is 9th & 10th lord in 8th with Drishti from Mars. But because, these grahas happen to be good for you, they dont harm either.
