mercury and jupiter friendship??

Dear learned astrologers...
I have a keen interest in astrology coming from the fact that I went through some testing times too..
I have a question..

One of the astrologers whom I met told me that Jupiter even though strong can give bad results in a mercury ascendant(kanya lagna, and kanya rashi kundali).. during its antardasha....
I cud not believe his statement..Please through some light ....
Can Jupiter also give bad results ???

No you Jupiter is exalted in 11th house and jupiter is benefic in your chart .

Your ascendent lord is mercury , yes some problems may come in mercury antardasa as mercury is not so strong . Mercury is in your 4th house which basically means for family happiness , so there can be some ups and down so take care.

It is in jupiter dasa and mercury antardasa.

Mercury stands for logical thinking, judgment , communication , emotions ,sisters , accountancy , finance etc .

So in mercury antardasa you had to take care of following things mentioned above

It is true that Jupiter and Mercury are not friends.

However, what kind of effect their Dasha combination will give depends upon how they are in a chart and in the Navansha.

In my case, - Jupiter-Mercury has by far been one of the best phases in my Jupiter Mahadasha. Every minor phase of Mercury has given me good results during Jupiter Mahadasha.

So it's not true that Jupiter-Mercury Dasha combination will always give bad results. It can give good or bad results depending upon a chart.

Mercury is a friend of my Lagna and Jupiter is an enemy of my Lagna. But both have given me good results in Jupiter Mahadasha.
