ketu/saturn conjunction in scorpio/eigth house?

Can anyone tell me the significance of a ketu/saturn conjunction in scorpio/8th house? As an astrological neophyte, I know little of this meticulous science, save for the numerous online threads heralding of the
travesties of a saturn/ketu conjunction. Does this mean I'm doomed, or merely overly-conspiratorial and fatalistic? Based on my intuition, if the 8th house is the house of death...my imagination tends to fill in the not
so comforting blanks. Any insight from an experienced reader would be greatly appreciated. Someone told me I could die from this! Should I listen to them or punch them in the face?
