Good day Anu,

Enemies are of many kinds. ( some times, even your spouse becomes your enemy :D ) In Jyotish enemies are seen from the 6th, (open adversaries / oponents) the 8th, (hard core, secret and chronic adversaries) and the 12th house (enemies who can cause loss). The 7th house is associated with declarations of war (against your enemy)

In your case, the 6th and the 8th lord are conjunct in the 7th house. The 10th house lord is in the 6th. One way of looking at this is that you are bound to encounter enemies in the work place. However, the 6th and the 10th are also Upachaya houses, and show that you can fight your enemies off.

The ability, courage and determination to fight stems from the 3rd house. The 3rd lord, though debilitated, gets a decent Neecha Bhanga and is strong due to his retrogression. The Karaka of the 3rd house Kuja is also debilitated. This is the reason why there is a initial reluctance to confront or face the enemy. You rather take the high road and forgive the enemy, rather than face it. This so called magnanimity comes due to the aspect of the Sun on the Lagna. The enemy might be close to you, sitting next to you, and plotting against you, but if that same enemy praises you, you forget every thing in a second. If that enemy is caught, and sprinkles a few apologies on you, while shedding a few tears, you melt and give in.

The 6th and the 8th lord aspects the 3rdlord. What this aspect does, is that when you encounter an enemy it initially overwhelms you. If you are not pushed hard, you refuse to fight because of the condition of the third lord. However when pushed against the wall, you come out with all guns blazing, (Agni Marutha Yoga) and the enemy finally succumbs under your blitzkrieg. If the enemy makes a mistake of pushing his/her luck, and continue to push you, the Viparita raja yoga will kick in and you will gain from your enemies fall, but not before you are subjected to intense pressure. Ultimately, you gain due to your enemy’s loss.
Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji
