Mercury in 8th house brings utter frustation

Hi,

Can anybody please tell whether Mercury will ever work for me or not? I am not able to get the promotion that I deserve not able to save any money despite all the strenous effort that i put each month don't know when marriage will take place. I have lot of confusion regarding my Mercury and no idea when mercury will give me some relief. Half of my mercury dasha is over but nothing good has happened till now.

It is all because the Mercury is placed in the 8th.
