Hi Learned Members
In this post I would like to introduce to you a financial yoga which to my knowledge has never been mentioned in the classics or anywhere before.
This Yoga involves the following :
Venus and Jupiter are placed in the 1st-7th axis (or vice versa). The malefics of the chart are placed either in the 2nd-8th axis or the 1st-7th axis. The malefics would include Saturn (the planet of poverty and misery), Rahu and Ketu (both nodes only give prosperity when placed in good houses, sometimes even the signs matter like Rahu in Capricorn), Moon if assoicated with Saturn, Rahu or Ketu, similarly for Mercury but to a lesser extent and similarly for Sun and Mars. Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars can give good results if they are not assoicated with Rahu, Ketu or Saturn and in good Bhavas and signs ruling good houses.
Now the 1st-7th axis is more powerful than the 4th-10th axis since the 1st-7th axis involves the Lagna and the 7th which aspects the Lagna fully even for empty houses. By the Bhavat Bhava principle, the 1st-7th axis is also more powerful than the 4th-10th axis. But bear in mind too powerful a 10th house or 4th house may render the 1st or 4th house respectively ineffective by the principle that the 4th to a house serves that house. But in general this fact can be ignored unless it is very striking like many planets clustering in the 10th house.
Now when the malefics are clustered in the 2nd-8th axis or the 6th-12th axis, the definition of malefics being mentioned above, and at the same time Venus and Jupiter are in the 1st-7th axis, all evils related to poverty, want of need, even sickness would be destroyed. The 2nd to Venus is money, 8th to Venus is something special that you have, 6th to Venus denotes propserity with minimal effort, 12th to Venus denotes prosperity, 2nd to Jupiter is wealth, 8th to Jupiter is unearned gains, 6th to Jupiter is grdual financial improvement in life through effort, 12th to Jupiter is access to financial advantages. From these significations you will realise the 2nd-8th axis for such a Yoga has a slight edge over the 6th-12th axis because the latter axis requires some effort to gain material comforts (when 6th is involved it always mean effort not only because it is an Upppachaya but because it is also a house of service).
I would call this Yoga the “Four Spokes of Lakshmi” since it involves 4 vantage points.
I have this Yoga in my D2 Kasanitha Hora.
Warmest Regards
Hock Leong
