Hello I need to find out when my brother is going to get married. He has been looking for three years and nothing has happened. We have spoken to many people and they have said that he would get married by December 2011 yet there is no girl in sight. Please help.

Dear Sharmak-ji,
Between Feb and July next year, in Rahu-Mercury-Venus, your brother is likely to get married. Despite the fact that Ketu is in the 7th and vargottama and also attains simhasanamsa status in the dasa vargas, i feel ketu PD may not give marriage. Ask your brother to propitiate Mars as he is very weak in shadbala and aspects kalathra karaka venus as the 6th lord of Rasi.

I stongly feel Ketu anthardasa (Feb 2014 to March 2015) will bring marriage.
For the reason that
1. Lagna lord Mercury is in the 8thbhava
2.Karaka lord Venus is in the 8th bhava.
3.Kethu is in the 7th in bhava chart.

Dear Sharmakji:

Why your brother is not getting married is because of some spirit problem. Let me be very clear about this. Even in case of getting married, I do not think it is going to give him peace. Once you give it Moksha and see the difference from then onwards....please note below the points:

Gulika in D-1 is in 12th, the lord Venus is in 7th retro. Hence Venus itself is Gulika and Ketu. Lagna in Rahu-Ketu Axis. Lagna in Ubhaya Rasi...for Ubhaya Rasi, 7th house is Badha Sthana and due to this Lagna Lord is in 8th house retro.

Your brother's horoscope Sun-representing Atma Karaka is in 8th house. This sun is 3rd lord or called as Anubhava Karaka. See where he is sitting. he is sitting in 8th house along with retro lagna lord Mercury.

Anubhava Karaka means experiencing lord. What is the experience here? The experience is of soul-8th house.

8th lord Saturn in 4th house. 4th house is the house of pleasure or enjoyment. What pleasure or enjoyment? Atmanubhooti. See saturn is 8th lord, but he is with another enemy, Retro Mars who is aspecting 7th house. So, I am not able to say whether he will be able to experience 8th lordship as sometimes even this Mars will also spoil that.

This Mars is 6th lord Retro who is in 4th house and hence, this Mars is destroying marital happiness by aspecting 7th house from 4th. Not only that, he is destroying peace of mind inside the house as well. There seems to be a curse.

Ketu lord Jupiter is in 5th house-i.e. in mind. i.e. the spirit spouse. It is the Karma lord as well.

In Navamasha, Saturn is in 6th house. In 10th house is Gulika.

In your brother's D-60 again shows Rahu in lagna and Ketu in 7th with again 3 retros. 9th house Gulika with Mercury who is also 7th lord and 10th house Sun. Karma Karaka and Sun in parivaratana.

Vakra Venus in 12th retro in D60.

I am not an astrologer, but I can guarantee 500% that unless this Gulika issue is sorted out, no pariharams will work permanently.

Once you solve this Gulika issue, then see how all 9 planets go and stand. Whether marriage will happen or not, I cannot say, but I can say that Gulika is standing in the way of spouse or in the form of spouse as per his chart.

Mars planet problem is also due to that only. So, propitation of Mars will not give u permanent solution, but only by finding a permanent solution to Gulika, the problem will be solved permanently.

That I do not know. I am saying just by reading charts. Chart indicates so clearly. Some of the charts are showing so. Whether somebody is possessed or not, how can I say? I am no God...

There are several kinds of spirits belonging to different categories which u can find in Prashna Sashtras or may find it with good astrologers down in South India. Spirit literally means a soul. When it is in body, we call it as Jeeva Atma. It can be a soul of anybody. Unless one finds out one's own past, it is difficult to interpret such things.

My point is to just find out the root cause of an issue or problem in a horoscope. Unless that root cause is solved permanently, how do you expect to find a result?

I never said the person is under spirit's influence...I said the problem is due to this as per the chart only. I do not know who is this person writing as we all operate behind the scene, so how can I say for sure that person is under spirit's influence or not.

Whatever I have said is purely based on chart.

GK or Maandi is called as spirit. What do you want me to call it otherwise.... You suggest some other name, i can call it by that name..no issue, whether by name of Rama, Seetha or Lakshmana....everything is same... If you still have doubts, please read Astroboy's or Respected Srinivas Raoji's -Gulika the miscreant thread in the forum.

Whatever I have said is purely based on chart. In South india, it is a major priority along with other 9 planets as it affects all other 9 planets or some in some way or the other, but the general planetary system does not take into account. These have to be studied very carefully and deeply.

So unless the root cause is solved as per the chart, the person may not get 100% relief.

I repeat I did not say or I did not know at all whether the person concerned is under influence or not. But, the reading is done mainly on basis of chart provided, nothing else.

I am a person who is very very open frank and truth telling person. I am not bothered about who cares what about me, but I believe to tell truth always on the basis of chart provided and provided if I know something.

Since we see all kinds of persons in this earth, most of them will not say such things very openly because most of them are scared about what others will think, what the world will think about them etc.. but having said that, will the truth become false and vice versa?

In this chart, most of the planets are under influence of that GK, something carried over from previous births.

The inner guiding force in one is known as GK or called as intermediate who can connect ours with Almighty..Everybody's inner guiding force's main aim is to attain moksha, which one cannot know clearly unless one dives into one's own known depth.

When such a force does not get moksha, it revolves in air with sookshma sharira because it has no death....this is called as spirit. It cannot be seen with our eyes. The body only dies as it is something born, the sthoola. This spirit leaves and enters a body whenever it wants....i.e. that is the real person you can call it X, Y or Z...when it leaves, the outer body dies. Such spirits may or may not influence the 9 planets. These can be understood only by a daivajna, a person who is having divine vision.

That is the reason why when some body dies in a house, we use to go to that house....the person will see who has come to see him, though the others cannot see that airy body. This body is called as spirit. This body is called as GK or Maandi after death of the outer body. We call it as Jeeva Atma when in a body.

Normal people will think, the person has died and start crying, weeping etc. The real fact is that the person has left the body at his/her own wish when he/she found that body is decayed or is of no use or does not wish to stay in a body anymore.

You may please see some good astrologer as I myself is not an astrologer, but my point is to just point out the cause of problems as what I see. The permanent solution for Gulika is quite enormous, there is no solution other than to go through everything for it by praying to Almighty always. The temporary solutions will not give you lasting effect forever, so that's why I am not telling anything. Anyways, please meet a good astrologer, maybe he will be able to guide you.

Which Kundali stated he is a new soul and who told u this? If he is a new soul, there is no chance that Rahu-Kethu will bind the axis. There is a curse in the chart. If he is a new soul, how can it happen? There are two retrogrades in his chart, Saturn and Mercury both exchanging their houses Virgo and Capricorn. Do you know what is meant by retrograde, something carried forward, lingering problem, not yet resolved, debt. So, if he is a new soul, how come there can be two retrogrades? Retrograde planets may or may not function properly. In some cases, it has not given any result at all as far as I know. In some cases, it has delayed. In some cases, it has not given anything properly. So, the results vary. Hence, it is difficult to tell how retro planets can function. Please meet some good astrologer, that's all I can say.

Now, Saturn retro in fourth. Fourth house indicates spouse as well. In D-60, Saturn is retro in eighth house. Eight house indicates soul mate.

Now, Rahu or Ketu both indicates wife and husband. Rahu's Lord is Mercury and that Mercury is very weak. Ketu's lord is Jupiter. Both Jupiter and Mercury are enemies to some extent. Rahu indicates materialism and Ketu indicates straight opposite. Venus here falls into ketu's hand who is also gulika and 5th lord. Venus indicates spouse. Jupiter and Venus are also enemies as one is Brihaspati and the other one is Shukracharya.

Above and all this, Mars is aspecting 7th house as well by standing in 4th house along with Saturn. Furthermore, Mars is with Saturn in fourth house.

I remember Astroboy's saying that when Mars and Saturn aspect each other especially like this, the husband and wife should have two earbuds in their ear when they come back from work at home... Mars aspecting Venus is also not good for a marital relationship.

There is no denial for marriage in your brother's horoscope, but in case, even if marriage happens, there will be problems because there is so much related with spouse and marriage in his horoscope. If he is new soul, how can he have all this?

Please kindly pardon me as I am telling all this very openly and frankly. Karmic things will never go until and unless one undergo the same. It will keep coming back till that time no matter even if it is 100 years after. It is hard, I can understand that, but what to do?

Giving moksha to a soul can be given only by his grace, i.e. the Super Computer for which the path is extremely difficult in all aspects. When even I am a slave in his hands, I cannot say anything. I have also a long long way to go...hoping for best.

First of all, one should give importance towards God and lead a life like that.

If you are going to give importance to other aspects of life, it is not possible especially if one wants to finish the journey in the present birth or future births itself.

Such a dedication comes automatically from your inside when the time is nearing one.

For example,

Say if one man or women is single, what is needed just to maintain this body? Just a piece of cloth to wear and food only when one feels hungry.

After realization, sometimes even this need will also get lost as after realization, most times there will be no hungry, no thirst, there will be universal consciousness.

Do you know Ramana Maharishi had the same problem. Maharishi had a negative energy or called as a spirit with Maharishi which Maharishi got from his Mother's Karma and to certain extent from his father's side because of debt from Maharishi's previous birth.

Maharishi made that negative energy to positive energy through ardous thapas of Lord Shiva and one-pointed centerness and love towards God, especially after Maharishi had the death experience of his body at the age of 17.

So, it is actually Lord's grace that made that negative energy to positive one, i.e. divine itself and Maharishi left the body as Shiva Jyothi at the age of 79 only after understanding fully that karma should be finished off which Maharishi understood clearly from his inside.

Maharishi did not keep anything with him other than a piece of a torn cloth to wear in his bottom part, that too for name sake. Such simple living. Maharishi was moreover stubborn in the reality, not even a second apart has Maharishi moved away.

Before leaving the world, through Lord Arunchala's grace, Maharishi even gave Samadhi to his Mother. If you give to Thiruvannamalai, there is Mathrubootheswar temple where Bhagavan's mother's samadhi is there still.

Maharishi's soul left the body rocketing into sky as Shiva Jyothi at the age of 79......became one with Paramatama.

Dear All,

The effects of gulika how ever great an evil he may be can be mitigated by the following propitiation.


Parashara recommends that one should worship lord Shiva regularly in the evening, bow down to the Sun-god and lord Vishnu in the morning, and light a holy lamp of ‘ghee’ before a Shiva temple. This would defy the evil arising out of an adverse disposition of Gulika.

The smell of ghee has the potential to invite saatwik devatas and gulikas evil will be neutralised to a great extent by this remedy.
