Story is simple. The lady comes to the conclusion that she has spent enough of time on this blessed earth and decides to make a quick exit to paradise. So one night she popped a bottle full of pills and never saw the morning light. ( Jan 15 2011 ) Death occured some time during the night of 14 night /15 early morning.

Could this have been predicted? What are the astrological indications which drove her to this act.

According to Dr Prabha S chandra proffessor of Phychiatry, "the communication channels between peers, family members, and friends in general is very important to avoid suicides. "Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem". The act is committed under severe impulsiveness where the person has lost all modes of communication to express his/her reason for sadness and depression.

Deepakji, Full Moon always gives the problem of split personality. Bhagwan Buddha had full Moon and see he left everything. This is the reason Lord Rama was born on Navami of S.P and Lord Krishna was born Ashthami of K.P. Here in this case it is a full Moon, moreover Moon is in Cancer[ Emotional] aspected by Saturn and Mercury[ 8L]. If we adjust the time by thirty seconds[2-13-30], the dasha would be Moon-Saturn-Jupiter-Ketu-Rahu or Jupiter. In this dasha aspect of Saturn on Moon had given her the depression,in spite of being the full Moon. See the effect of Dasha. Moon and Saturn are conjunct in the 3H of navmansha. Also notice both the luminaries are under the effect of Rahu-Ketu, and the dasha is on. Aspect or conjunction of Saturn with Moon always gives the depression. Conjunction[close] of Rahu and Sun has also give such feeling. Mutual aspect of Mercury and Moon forces the person to take instant decisions , here Mercury is also the 8L. Anu ji, I woke up this morning and sat down to read about the effects of a full moon birth. As usual, some authors have praised Pournimasya. But the reverse is found to be true. I remember P.S. Rao ji telling me that a full moon birth gives troubles. It is amazing that you zoomed in on that aspect in the chart, because its precisely what I did this morning.

I found this sloka in Jataka Desha Marga chapter 8 sloka 74 - When Mercury and the Moon are posited in Angular Houses and are not in any way conjoined with any other planet and they are also not aspected by the lords of these Angular Houses, the Yoga formed is known as Paisacha and the native born under it will become insane.

Off course we cannot apply this sloka to this chart because one of the conditions required to apply this sloka is that Budha and Chandra should not be conjoined with any other planet. I just posted this sloka here because I wanted to draw your attention to the fact that Moon Mercury combination is not good at all. You are right that one of the reasons she acted in haste is because of the Moon Mercury aspect on each other.

Anu ji, we were talking about Scorpio lagna people on chat the other day. It's amazing that when you come across charts like this,....... small and less important factors and general statements come startlingly true.

Deepakji, Now to verify the event from the other dasha. I am applying Yogini Dasha. This Dasha is of 36 years. I apply first 36 years from Lagna, 2nd from Moon and third from Sun. Since she was more than 36 years and less than 72 years, I am applying it from Moon. She was under Venus-Saturn- Sun-Rahu-Saturn on 14-01-2011. Anter Dasha Lord Saturn is the 8L from the Moon in rashi chart, aspecting the Moon Lagna, Sun is the 2L from the Moon Lagna and Rahu is in the 7H[ Marak] See the role of Saturn[ dipression, since aspecting the Moon] is again coming in Yogini Dasha also. See in Navmansha Saturn is again with Moon in 3H and aspected by the 8L from Moon lagna i.e Mercury. Rahu is placed in the 8H from the Moon in navmansha. Mutual aspect of Mercury and Moon is also repeating.regards

This chart is a good study.
After study of recent charts I now understand more fully why 3H is a malefic. Any afflication to 3H or 3L and things can go in totally different direction.
One can take initatives for good or bad.

In this case Shrikanth has pinpointed the causes very accurately,I couldn't agree more.
Luminiaries are completely eclipsed by Ra and Ke that have destroyed the chart.
See the stress on Moon, Ketu direct afflication from Sa. A full moon eclipsed is very very sensitive. Add Ra, Me, Sa aspect and it becomes very hard for Ju to handle it.
Full moon is not considered good generally, makes people very sensitive and negative thoughts prone. Statistcally lot of suicides happen in full moon.

Moon is neecha in D9 and conjuncts Sa. Moon is in vice like grip of Sa. Depression,lack of happiness despite material pleasure are very common with Moon saturn association. No doubt this association is called visha yoga makes one emotionally and mentally weak.

Exalted Saturns aspect on Moon is very potent and depressing. Will not let person ever feel happpiness with what he she or he has.

The reason she could live up to medium age is that Jupiters aspect on all of of these kept things under control for some time at least but it could only delay results to a certain extent not avoid the inevitable.
Ju is also offering protection from D9 lagna and from 6th house in D1 but could not handle 6 masterminds in Rashi.

Exalted Ve in 5th was also offering protection to intelligence and may have helped in deferring the decision.

Deepakji,Some more indicators. Mars in the 4H, which is also the 6L, without any benefice aspect. From Moon and Karka for 4H, which is again Moon, Saturn exalted aspected by Jupiter. Though the aspect of Jupiter is a boon, but Jupiter is also the 6L from Moon Lagna.But to confirm it I verified it from J.B , according to which '' If Saturn in Libra aspected by Jupiter the native is worried by the grief of others, is bountiful, assiduous and object of affection of all'' From Sun Lagna Jupiter is in the 4H[ as 12L] aspected by Saturn. As per J.B'' If Jupiter in Aries aspected by Saturn, the native is of avaricious nature, has a horrible appearance, is endowed with courage, devoid of the happiness of having friend and progeny, and is hard hearted.'' Just a few pointers, for suicide Moon is of supreme importance as the mind decides to end the existence of the body. As important are the maraks from Moon (despaired of life, decision of death) and the Maraks from Lg (actual death). Maraks here refers to both marak Hs and Marak Ls. And then comes the 8th L, dealer of death.

Leo and Cap are the Mr Hs and Sun and Sat are the Marak Ls from Moon. 8th L is also Sat.

Sagi and Tau are the Mrk Hs and Jup and Ven are the Marak Ls from Lg. 8th L is Mer.

Death took place in Moon-Sat-Moon.

Curious thing is see how many planets are in the Nk of Sat. Lg (Anu), Moon (Pushya) Ven (UBh).

Sun a marak L for Cancer moon is in the Nk of Moon (Sharavana).

Purnima born, emotional.

Moon with Ketu, Sun with Rahu (in the same Nk) Very important point is Rahu in the Nk of Moon and close conjunct the principal Marak from Moon - Sun. This position of Rahu-Ketu creates sudden and acute despair, which may lead to death wish.

Moon was in Krittika (marak's Nk) Sun was in USh. Both fall in the Pratyari Group of Nks from Moon
(obstacles). Moon was in Tau, ashtam chandra from the Lg.

Very very curious to note, on that date Sun, Moon, Sat all three were exactly in 5th from each other. Sun in Cap, Moon in Tau, Sat in Vir. There is some destiny connected here as 5th is purva punya (past life Karma)

Ketu was in Ardra (8th fr Lg) Rahu was in Moola (2nd fr Lg). Mer 8th L was with Rahu, in the 2nd fr Lg.

Sorry my mistake between ketu in 8th and 9th Hs. Correction done.

Still struggling with the D30 of this Chart, so cannot say anything.

This is all I came up with. Hope I have been clear and succinct.

I think I have figured out a way to explain Sun Moon and Sat being 5th fr each other in transit and how it is imp in suicide. 5th is 3rd from 2nd, so efforts towards self destruction?? Thats plausible but still I would like a better one.

Deepakji, In D-4[ destiny] Mars is aspecting the Lagna and 4H as 3L and 10L and Jupiter, the 2L and 11L also aspecting. LL Saturn is in the 9H exalted but conjunct with 2L Jupiter and in exchange with Venus as 2L. So 4L Venus of D-4 in 2H under the effect of Jupiter the 2L and 11L. Moon the Karka, is also in 12H with Ketu aspected by Sun[ 7L]. Dasha was Moon- Saturn- Jupiter, Moon in the 12H[ subconsciousness ] with Ketu aspected by the Marak Sun[ 7L], Saturn[ 12L also] is in the 9H with Jupiter[2L] and Jupiter is the 2L. Mercury[8L] is also aspected by Saturn.regards
