LIST OF BIRTH TIME RECTIFICATION METHODS

There is difference of opinion regarding what constitutes the accurate birth time. we will probably never know the truth of this matter. instead of getting struck in that, imo one should try to rectifiy the time with the events of life. this is possible only after lapse of time. however, some of the methods listed below are mathematical in nature and so can be used to tentatively correct the chart of younger natives.

i am listing some of the methods discussed by Shri Sreenadh in his book on this subject and some methods that i have come across:

1. Pancha Tatwa Siddhanta

2. Kunda

3. Gulika

4. Navamsa-Dwadasamsa

5. Varga Chathusthaya

6. Pranapada Lagna

7. Ghati-Vighati

8. Sookshama Lagna

9. Events based

10. KP System

11. Rule of Origin (KP System)

12. Nadi Jyotish Method

some of these methods such as Gulika/Kunda are useful for astrologers for quick verification of Lagna. also, some of these methods can only used for small corrections in time from <1min to 3 mins. so they wont be useful if the error margin is large. hope this list becomes more comprehensive with contributions from others.

Gulika method: lagna rashi shud be in trines to Gulika or Gulika navamsa.

Kunda or nava-navamsa method:multiply lagna longitude with 81. the resultant longitude shud be conjunct with the longitude of moon's nakshatra or trines to it.
