hi dgp
marriage seems to be an uphill task..
lagna afflicted by the presence of ketu ..moreover ketu and lagna i aspected by malefic rahu..
L7 Moon is also afflicted by the aspect of rahu
lagna lord has good placement but has a conj with L8 Sun in the 9th house ...lagna lord is also combust making him weak and making the overall chart weak
Presently in Ketu Md/Sun ad until jan 2011...ketu Mahadsaha overall willbe challenging
there could be chances of marriage once saturn transits to libra and apects ur 7th house after nov 2011

thanks for replying astro123,
I have been on this forum seeking advice since more than an year...till my rishta was broken, I was being told by all the guru ji's here that marriage is promised in my chart & before june 2011 will get married...now when this rishta has been broken, almost all guru ji's are saying that marriage is tough task & you also mentioned that...why is this confusion about????
I have been told that I have punarpho dosha, but there are many couples with punarphoo happily married...
what I am trying to ask or say is that is marriage promised in my life??? or the sort of expectations I have from my married life they wont be fulfilled or would I have a bad married life??? or will I marry at all???
if you read my previous posts,I have said that all areas of my life are shaky with nothing stable or sound & with this marriage situation also becoming so tough,am I destined to be doomed forever??? what about the Venus MD starting Feb 2016??? does Venus guarantee marriage???? as my rishta was also fixed in Venus AD on 25th June 2010...
there hasnt been any good event taking place in our family since ages & my marriage also now seems to be a no-show !

Dgp, Let me give you a piece of advice....you may follow or ignore it !!
For next few months forget astrology and follow free-will.....go out with friends ....go to some parties in town or at friends place....try to meet new people...get a hobbie and explore it....do things you always wanted to do....things that make you happy...live your life like its the last few months of your life. Once you will start living a happy life ...you will never be sad again....trust me !
Live life by the moment my friend !! Easier said than done....give it a shot !....who knows you might thank me one day ...
Wish you the best !!

I totally agree with Sinecurve.
see in forest mummy duck is going to water pond for swimming means - daddy duck and baby ducks is going in the backside of mummy duck and jumping in water. Not looking this side not looking that side. Simply jumping.

Dear Baba,
You could not have given a better piece of advice
In this race of life , we all are so target oriented , that we forget to just be and enjoy life.
Totally agree

I am a student of this subject , and hence I might be wrong in my calculations. Kindly seek other opinions too , before coming to a conclusion.
prblms in ur life overall is coming from ketu MD..ketu is a planet for sorrow and misey..IMO, sinecurve is correct.marriage is promised but the best advise would be to forget abt it intil 2016 ..venus is a yogakarak for u and its md from 2016 will give good results...so if u can delay thinking abt marriage till 2016 all the better
thanks

hello to all the respected elders here,
In many of your posts, many of you specifically mention or advise ppl to match charts before marriage.I always feel 1 thing that if its in a person's destiny to suffer in marriage or after marriage,he/she will suffer, whether you match the charts or not, isnt it?
how can a person have a fantabulous/great/satisfying married life after matching the charts if he is destined to suffer? what I feel from this is,if a native had matched charts before marriage,so instead of having a miserable life,he/she would have had a great life? so where does destiny play its part? its like then belieiving that a native can change his/her destiny...but thats not the case as destiny cannot be changed.even if the charts match, there could be external circumstances beyond human control that can rip a marriage apart.
charts are not matched in love marriages.why would ppl match charts if you love someone truly? on the other hand hand,if you dont want to marry a person coz of his/her looks, educational bg,family bg or etc etc reasons, then whether your chart is matching excellently, you still wont marry that person.

Hello:
I am reminded of an incident that a person well known to us cited. The lady had a friend who went to match his horoscope with that of a boy to a famous astrologer. The astrologer told him that they match well and that she could proceed. She proceeded, the marriage took place and the boy collapsed on the third day after marriage. He had a heart attack and was pronounced dead.
She felt very bad and came to the same astrologer with the two horoscopes and of course, she said she had just come to match the two horoscopes. The astrologer said, he would have been married and would have died by now. Then she told him the whole incident, he apologised to her and said, the thing had to happen and so his eyes became blind when he had earlier looked at these horoscopes. The fate in this case was so strong that the marriage was destined to take place and she was destined to lose her husband.
So here fate was strong which did not allow free will to work.

The point I am trying to make or ask all the elders here is that if such a big thing called MARRIAGE is pre-destined,then how can matching of charts change good to bad & bad to good...I see many seniors here stress on the fact that charts should have been matched when a native says that he/she has had a troubled marriage, how can a person change his destiny by matching charts??
if a person is destined to suffer in marriage,he/she would, whether charts are matched or not, isnt it?
thanks

Hello DGP:
This question should be answered by experts on astrology and others who talk of the influence of free will versus fate.
Anyway I give my views. I do believe that certain things are moving as per fate and one of them is marriage. I have seen even several married couples fighting everyday and when they show their horoscopes to some astrologers, they ask, "why the hell did you both get married? It was the biggest blunder." So I feel certain things are destined. The same astrologer predicts perfectly for one and fails in case of the other. This has happened even in my case. So my view is certain things can be changed by using free will and among those are like suppose you dont get a job for long, then pariharas will help, and similaraly if there is quarrel everyday at home, shanti homa and mantra and sloka chanting will help.
If something is strongly fated, it does not change. If a person has done a crime of highest order, then he has to suffer but when he does something which can be forgiven then parihara helps. Of course, we do not know what our crimes were in the past janmas? That would give us an answer in every phase of life and for every problem that we face. Of course, for the sins of this janma, each one of us know what the sins are but definitely, if the punishments are much more severe than the sins of this janma, then we need to wonder, what grave sin in the past has caused this suffering and we need to find the parihara for it. Definitely, continuous pariharas will help in this janma or if not in the next janma atleast.
For eg: If one has borrowed huge sum of money from another person and is unable to pay all that and is dead before he pays it all, then may be he has to pay the remaining with interest in the next janma but the earlier connection between the two is lost ie they would not be able to identify their past life.

(In most cases). How we conduct our relationship with the spouse is largly in our hand's . If a horoscope shows that the quality of marriage is destined to be bad, Then it is best not to get married. The planets don't compel, They just impel. A adridha karma can be changed with Remedies as Dev JI so beautifully pointed out. When we match charts we see if the girl and the boy can tolerate each other's karma's. Some times couples do not use their free will well and get divorce even inspite of the horoscope matching well. Some couples use thier free will and stick to the marriage using their free will. It has to be taken on a case to case basis. You cannot generalise these things and comment on it.

Through hard work and spiritual practices, a person gets honor and dignity. The lazy one who puts in no efforts is like a fool who allows salt to be spilled on the wounds of his misfortunes. The idler depending only on fate, achieves nothing. - K.N.Rao ji
And DGP, a good word of advice for you. Stop getting so obsessed about getting married. You are working your self up for nothing . Marriage is not the be all and end all of life. please enjoy your life and stop brooding about these things.

Hi DGP,
As explained nicely by Astroboy, marriage is only a small part of one's life and is not the synonym for happiness. Several unmarried people are happy, several married ones are unhappy too. So be happy with whatever you are good at and whatever you are able to achieve in those areas. Even reading posts from this intellect cum astrological forum benefits all since each one of us learn a lot from some of these postings. Learning astrology, spirituality and pariharas one can do to get rid of past birth sins definitely makes one rise in the intellectual and spiritual planes.

thanks for the advice astroboy & dev ji,
as I had shared some of my histories with you some time back Astroboy,a person in my shoes would always be stuck with something which is even related to my parents happiness.in my case,my parents have seen the worst financial times with home & factory being sold due to losses in business & bad loans.so for them my marriage is like something which they are looking forward to,but who knows what is in store for them
we all know marriage isnt the be all & the end all of life but ofcourse it is one of the most important & toughest tasks to accomplish, however having said that, the society or the country we live in,it looks down upon ppl who arent married if they are already 30(I know many would disagree) but its a cruel & a strange fact.
YES,there have been ex-prime ministers & ex-presidents who are still single etc etc,but those are always the exceptions.
the other example Astroboy is that in this forum itself, just look at the queries related to marriage/relationships...they are the maximum as compared to career, health etc etc...reason being Indians are obsessed with marriage/relationships/attraction...
with me being in my late 20's,or with any human being in his/her late 20's,he/she would ofcourse be thinking about marriage till the time it is done.its very normal in our society...ppl start searching for a partner from 22-23 & the search goes on till they are 34-35,some are able to settle(destined),some not(again destined)...& the vicious circle goes on & on & on...
this forum has been of a great help to me on many levels, whether it is related to spirituality or intellect...
thanks to all of you

Dear Astroboy:
Wonderful answer. You deserve a prize if any for this answer, may be from the forum itself. He said that people dont respect unless you are married and he knows that you are one of the most sought after astrologers in this forum and also that you are unmarried. So he has to take back his statement since he respects you.
Also not only that sun rises in the east though we are all not married but the sun rises in the east for each one of us too, I mean our mind is able to recognise the sun rising in the east, we have all not gone mad.

@Astroboy & Dev ji,
with due respect to all,I hope my comment is not taken in a negative way...I can never ever think of showing disrespect to any of you wonderful ppl here on the forum...NEVER...I am just trying to say what the society thinks...I am no one to offend some one here...especially the great ASTROBOY
If any of you elders here felt bad, please accept my sincerest apologies right from my heart...I know astroboy knows that I cannot offend him
All I wanted to say is that we do live in a society where marriage is important, not only to us but also for our parents who do want to see us married...so when no area of your life is settled or sound or stable & your own parents have also seen some terrible times financially, then as a son,you do feel that you owe something back to them or can even try to do something for them which gives them some happy moments...
when I said that the society looks down upon ppl who arent married yet,I was in no way referring to any of the wonderful ppl here on the forum, infact I was referring to myself as so many of my relatives keep on telling my parents in a taunting way that "your son is 29,why isnt he married yet, something wrong???doesnt he like girls, doesnt he want to marry??? is he very high headed??? ".....I mean all these words from relatives dont matter but then ofcourse as a son you start feeling that now this event called MARRIAGE is also causing hiccups to my parents...it then starts to play on your mind 24x7....when I broke off my recent rishta, after that its now more & more playing on my mind that after all when would it finally happen, but who knows when would it happen or whether would it happen at all
once again I would aplogise if any of you elders here felt bad...whatever I said was about me,not any of you greats...HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND ME

Dear Friend,
Thank you for your PM and following is what i think after having had a quick look:
1)Ke-Ra in the Rasi on the 1-7 axis might be a curse carried forward in the family...destroys self and marriage prospects.
2) Ve is placed in Scorpio the lord of which is in 8th house and Ve is in 6th in Navamsa with temporary enemy Moon...bad placements for the Karak of marriage
3) Further Ra aspects Ve in Rasi throuhg it's 5th drishti
4) Lord of the 7th house of navamsa is Sa sitting in an enemy Rasi of Cancer with the Ascendant..weakening the ascendant also.
The only two rays of hope I see in the Navamsa are:
A) Sa aspecting it's own house, the 7th
B) Ju's 5th drishti falling on the house of marriage.
You must worship the family deity, find out if there is a known curse going back a few generations.
Do Ketu jaap regularly ( you can google to find out how). You need to reduce the potency of the curse and get some divine blessings / protections before you think of marriage
Marriage opportunities will come again...that is not the problem.
That you will blow them away is the problem.
That you will find hard to sustain the marriage if it happens is also the problem.
You need divine help to realize these small ray of hopes, get some stability in your mind....and should try and do as suggested in italics..instead of rushing into marriage....would be my advise
regards
