My son came to U K in 2003 May. He is studying here in a selective school. He is British Citizen and is there any chance to come back and settle in India after finishing his education or he will permanently settle in foreign country. I have to agree with Saindhaviji, malefic and debilitated MD lord does not promise long-stay away from place of birth. Current transit Ju in 3rd and Sa in 9th indicate short-term travels. Moon dasha may have taken you away from your place of birth/residence.

You have several indicators for stay away from place of birth. Also, you are undergoing Ra MD. Ra is well-placed in lagna and will take you away from birth. You will also benefit with the current exalted Saturn transit in Libra. Don't expect miracles immediately, Saturn is a slow planet and will give good results during its direct movements.

What if lagna lord is placed in 12th house with 12th lord?

Dasha/bhukti of lagna lord will influence travel. Try to check for other combinations too.

1. lagna lord/10L mercury is placed in 12th house with 12th lord sun and ketu.

2. 4/7 lord jupiter is placed in 9th house.

3. saturn retro in 4th therefore aspecting 12th.

I am running jupiter mahadasha since june 2008.... saturn antardasha started in may 2010 and since then i am feeling trapped in my home and desperately looking for a way out.I am trying for a job away from my birth place but so far no luck.Any insights would be helpful.Thanks!

Interesting comment regarding "the delusion of living abroad" as I have done it twice!! I was born in India but moved to the UK at 3 months in around May 1955. Lived there until 1981, with a 2 year stay in France 1980-81. Moved to the US permanently in Nov 1981 and have been here ever since. Have not had a problem with education, jobs, or visas-all has gone very smoothly. My data, Feb 17, 1955, 6pm, Mumbai. Do you think this will happen a THIRD time (I hope not...)?

Maharani,

Looking at your Mahadasha table, you moved to UK in 1955 during Ketu-Mercury. Mercury rules your 12h house. You moved to the US permanently during Sun-Rahu-Moon. Both Rahu and Moon are the natural signifiers of foreign residence and your Rahu is actually controlling the conflicts and enemies in your chart, though Rahu-Moon conjunction in 6th is not good otherwise.

Your Venus aspects your 12th house and hence, you'll stay abroad. Venus has given you the permanent residency in the US.

But Saturn and Mars aspect your Lagna adversely and as I said, Rahu-Moon conjunction may cause emotional problems and wrong judgments abroad. Saturn and Mars periods may bring trouble for you.

If possible, wear a white sapphire 4.5 carats or diamond 2.5 carats. Recite Vishnusahasranama, followed by Shri Suktam from Rig Veda and Hanuman Chalisa daily.

Only short trips for now. Current transit again shows short trips and does not show long-term stay. AD/bhukti of planets associated with 7, 9, and 12th house may give prolong stay.

1. How about stay for an extended period of time and then coming back to your place of birth?
2. Does staying away from your place of birth but in same county satisfy the condition?
3. What about a person who is born in his maternal relations house which is in a different city but will grow up in his father's place? Does it mean that this person is staying away from place of birth?
4. Or is away from place of birth more of a mental aspect i.e. based on what the individual would consider to be staying away from place of birth.
