Hi Mahesh,
As astrologers we're looking for repeating patterns. For instance, if a person is in a Jupiter dasha and Jupiter rules the 1st and 4th house, while at the same time Jupiter aspects the ascendant by transit, then a pattern emerges regarding Jupiter and the 1st house. This would becomes emphasized in the interpretation. Also, the sub period will be a major influence in determining the area of focus. Vaughn Paul

Hi p.mahesh
I can tell you what is being followed by astrologers from Kerala (India).
Let us take eg: given by you ,ie: Saturn as 2nd and 3rd lord.
This happen when Lagna is Dhanu.
Then the 2nd house is a YUGMA rasi and the 3rd house is a OJA rasi.
Now see where Saturn is placed in the horoscope.
If it is in a OJA rasi( Mesh ,Midhun,Simha etc) then Saturn's 3rd lordship will be predominent
and the 2nd house lordship is submissive.
If Saturn is plased in a YUGMA rasi then it will behave more as the 2nd house lord..
I have not seen this rule in any books, but in kerala we are taught like this by elder astologers.
सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः।
सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः।

Astrologically yours.

Subramanianji,

what happens if Sa is placed in some third house? In your example, If Sa is placed in 12th house while owning 2nd and 3rd, what then?

12 th means He is in yugma rasi.
So his 2nd house lordship will dominate over the 3rd house lordship.

Looks like oja means odd house(1, 3, 5 etc) n yugma means even house(2, 4, 6, 8 etc) in the natural zodiac

Hi All,

I am also dhanu lagna with saturn being lord of 2nd and 3rd house. My Jupiter/Saturn just started a month ago. What all can I expect in this antardasha ? Will 2nd or 3rd lord be more prominent. My Saturn is in the 11th house for another 2.5 years
